  • As a die hard leafs fan, there's no shot I would ever go see a game in Scotiabank arena. They've legit priced out all the fans that show they care, so all the visible and audible seats get filled by suits or the platinum seat ghosts. I've been lucky enough to see them play in Buffalo and Ottawa, but would never even consider paying that much money to be that far from the ice. Looking forward to seeing real fans in Maple Leaf Square a couple of weeks from now. Go Leafs Go! (from the comfort and affordability of home)

Great content dude! Come down for some Alberta games, Edmonton or Calgary!

Great video as always. I’d love to go see a Leafs game at Scotiabank but I can’t justify the cost. To compare, My Hamilton Tiger-Cats season ticket is $231

I'm a Blues fan and have lived in Toronto for 2 years now - finally going to my first game at Scotia on Feb 13th when my Blues take on the Leafs. Felt a bit sick paying for my ticket in the nosebleeds but figured if I'm gonna go to my first game, what better game to choose than when they play my Blues! Can't wait :D
  • I think the main reason it was so expensive for a ticket was because it was their home stadium
  • Had gotten a good deal for tickets in Ottawa for Sens vs Lightning for $56 each lower level club seat! Had to pay 4 times that for the leafs 😅 (mid level seat)

Great video! I'd love to see the Leafs at Scotiabank, but if that was the case I'd be travelling from scotland and it'd be a once in a lifetime thing. So I'd pay for tickets in that case. I've just bought tickets to see them play in Sweden for the Global series in November. That worked out about the equivalent of 700 Canadian dollars for two tickets. Again. I'm going to Sweden for the week so it's also a holiday whilst I'm there. First time in Sweden and first time seeing the Leafs too. So I'm super excited.
  • As a Bruins fan, we kind of suffer the same thing. TD Garden was built small in fact KeyBank center is bigger and that shouldn't be the case. The entire upper deck sells out for a Bruins game

As a Blackhawks fan that lives in a non NHL state I think going to a Leafs game would be an experience. Its a historic team franchise so why not. The ticket prices are jacked up just because the front office is a bit too proud of said history.

You can fly to Tampa, stay in a nice hotel for the weekend, get 2 tickets in the 100s, and fly back for half the price of 1 ticket in tge 100s at scotiabank Arena for the 1st round this year. It's insane

And I have awesome experiences myself my brother is a big shot city planner he gets free tickets and food it’s honestly the best food delivery to your seats

I’m the same my 1# favourite team is the Habs but Toronto is my family’s team so I love them too but that’s why when I watch leafs games I just watch them on tv for free
  • @leafsdivision
I hear ya, these prices are horrendous but can't compare the Sabres prices with the Leafs. Buffalo hasn't the same love for hockey like Toronto. But I agree those prices are not family friendly at all. Nevertheless great vid again bud. 👏🏻👏🏻

My partner and I went to a Leafs game last year and it was the most underwhelming and expensive thing in the world. I am a die hard Leafs fan, like my entire family is and has been since birth, and I was so excited to be going to my first Leafs game. My partner is from Scotland and also loves the Leafs so for her it was really special as we were coming from Scotland to see it (we both live in Scotland but were visiting my family in Canada so saw it while we were there). We paid close to $400 for tickets that were one row from the VERY back of the Scotiabank Centre and the visibility was awful, there was no atmosphere and we ended up leaving a few minutes before the end of the game as the Leafs were down (surprise surprise) and it had been such a disappointing experience. On top of that Matthews, my partner's favourite player, ended up being injured for a few weeks at that time so wasn't even playing. Not his fault obviously, just unfortunate and bad luck on our part. Meanwhile, this time while visiting family in Canada we went to two Ottawa Senators games (sister lives by Ottawa so easy), one in the lower 300s and one five rows from ice, and it was cheaper for both games than the one ticket in the back of Scotiabank for the Leafs game. Do I like the Ottawa Senators? No, I'm a Leafs fan so no, but I now appreciate that they actually make it possible for fans to afford it and it was great to see families and friends there and not just disinterested people there for clout and photos. I'm still a diehard Leafs fan and will always love them but I'm honestly not interested in ever going to their games in person again in Toronto.

went with 3 ppl, paid $90 on 3 hotdogs, 3small fries and 2 waters 😭 Over 700 just for a regular season game is absurd

I have a friend who lives in Toronto and she said everything it so damm expensive there. I book a trip to Toronto last summer for 9 nights at a Hilton in the entertainment district of Toronto and it would have been over 4,000 US dollars but unfortunately I had to called the trip. That same month I stay an entire week in Hyatt in capital hill of Washington DC and I paid less than 1,500. My friend said everything in Toronto is a ripoff

I used to once attend Bruins and Whalers buying tickets at arena box offices. no ticket agency upcost and fees. I do not comprehend why regulations can not just eliminate the ticket agencies ticket scalping. It's sleazy and immoral.
  • @greg0uk
Makes my season ticket for Leeds United seem like peanuts.
