Amino acids are the building blocks for proteins. In this crash course, we take a deep dive into 7 amino acids and their benefits to health and wellness.
1. L-Arginine
2. L-Carnitine
3. L-Glutamine
4. L-Lysine,
5. L-Tryptophan
6. L-Tyrosine
7. N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC)
Within the diet, there are ten essential amino acids that must be obtained through eating. Then, there are conditionally essential amino acids that the body can actually produce, like N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) and L-glutamine. However, under certain conditions, like illness, the body may require more than the body can produce. Therefore supplementation of these may not only be beneficial, but vital.

My favorite amino acid supplements:
Virid (Lysine) - glutenfreesociety.org/Virid
L-Glutamine - glutenfreesociety.org/L-Glutamine
L-Carnitine - www.glutenfreesociety.org/shop/health-focus/energy…
Acetyl L-Carnitine - www.glutenfreesociety.org/shop/health-focus/energy…
Ultra Adrenal Support (Tyrosine) - glutenfreesociety.org/UltraAdrenalSupport
Ultra NAC - glutenfreesociety.org/UltraNAC
Ultra Aminos - www.glutenfreesociety.org/shop/grouped/ultra-amino…

These videos about supplements, health and nutrition always say "consult with your doctor." But the reason we even need to consider these options is because the vast majority of doctors know nothing about nutrition and they are clueless about almost anything except prescribing drugs for symptoms.

Now retired after many years as a health professional, I really appreciate doctors like this who speak the truth, and know what they are talking about. There is a lot of money grabbing and bad medicine being practiced out there now. It’s not the Hippocratic Oath anymore, it’s the hippocritic oath unfortunately. If you can find a physician like this, you are one lucky person.

My favoutire amino acids are following :: 1. Essential Amino Acid EAA free form & BCAA complex (all 9 incl tryptophan) Rationale : The human body cannot endogenously synthesise all these 9 amino acids. Several Several therapeutic benefits incl protein synthesis, muscle support, neurotransmitters & hormone support, energy metabolism, digestive support, immune support etc . 2. Glycine free form Rationale : major source of methylation, glutathione synthesis, 30% of collagen is glycine, stress regulator, glucose regulation, NO booster, inhibitory neurotransmitter, nucleotide synthesis, creatine synthesis, functions as antioxidant by itself, anti inflammatory, sleep & relaxation. 3. Argenine free form . Rationale : NO booster, blood vessel support , growth hormone synthesis, urea cycle & ammonia detox, creatine synthesis, wound healing, supports immune system. 4. Lysine : Collagen synthesis, calcium absorption, balances argenine, antiviral & herpes support, protein synthesis, energy metabolism, supports adrenals, supports immune system. 5. Methionine (NOT Cysteine/ NAC). Rationale : Primary source of SAMe - universal methyl donar, along with B6 fuels endogenous synthesis of cysteine and taurine, liver and pancreas detox (sulfur source) , lipid metabolism & fatty liver support, energy metabolism, encourages bile output. 6. Creatine (monohydrate) : ATP primary source, energy metabolism, muscle & stress support, strength & endurance. 7. L-Glutamine Rationale : Leaky gut support, immune support, glutathione precursor, antibody support, GALT barrier, energy metabolism, anabolic & muscle support.

You are a ROCKSTAR! I follow several online doctors, and you have the best presentations/education style. Clarity is critical, and you unwrap it appropriately. Protect yourself and stay safe. It's likely that big pharma doesn't like you much. Keep telling the truth!

My son has really bad muscus when he has cold and make him cough over and over and when I've NAC it goes away. God gave us every we need here on earth if we open our mind and have bright minds like this dr to educate us❤❤❤
  • Awesome! In practice 44 yrs and never knew most of this. Was not included in my training. Thank you so much!
  • When prozac came on the market, tryptophan was banned. I always thought it was a conspiracy.
  • Sure will be nice when we have more Dr's like this man to lead us all towards better health and better lives. ❤

Dr.Peter Osborn . Your work is higly appreciated in the doctors in my part of woods . A Pakistani doctor .
  • Thank you .really helps , just ate three eggs , took glutathione, l cysteine , MSM , glutamine .starting to feel better really . While I listen to this . Thank you . I think I'll stay away from tryptophan. I take it and it never seems to work . Thank you you are really good . I can't afford all this tests . I am trying to eat a lot of animal products .

If you have cancer, be sure to look into what amino acids diminish it and which ones can promote tumor growth before taking any. There is new research on this topic online.
  • I purchased the Nutritional testing package from Gluten Free Society and am extremely deficient in quite a few vitamins, minerals, amino acids & other nutrients. Now I know specifically what supplements to focus on, rather than just guessing. Thank you for offering this service, this is very empowering.
  • Osborne is the best on YouTube. He should have at least a million subscribers but the fact that he doesn't indicates the volume of idiocy we have in the united states where the majority are not interested in knowledge and facts

I will say NAC does have debilitating side effects for some people. I tried taking it a few times and all my symptoms elevated 10x. Anyone who is mold toxic, has impaired sulfur metabolism, and has neurological damage especially be careful with NAC.
  • As usual, excellent presentation. In a world of clowns and buffoons, there are still a couple of gems left to find. I appreciate the truth.
  • @Ziyana_Zenn
I make it a habit to hit the like button first before watching any of Dr..Osborne's video 🙂🥰

❤One large egg contains roughly 13 essential vitamins, minerals and high quality protein packed into just 70 calories. “Eggs are a great source of a complete protein,” according to McCune. “That means one egg contains six grams of protein and all the essential amino acids your body needs.❤
  • @mradjamesable
Really insightful. I would add that Nac and Glycine (GLYNAC) are a great combo as precursors too Glutathione
  • Thank you once again Dr Omole on Youtube for this information. Since following you (for some years now), my kidney stage results has decrease from stage 3 to stage 1. You saved me from dialysis. Thank you and please keep the videos coming!! God Bless
  • Thanks Dr. Osborne . Once again, this demonstrates how important an animal based diet is to our human health. I was once vegetarian, in my 20s, believing in all the propagandas, and I was so sick ALL THE TIME, not knowing why! No more of BS for me now, I know better and my health is completely turned around, on an heavy meat based Ketovore diet.
