    The video didn't show the entire gameplay. There are still many confidential info hided by Game Science. The game offers three stances namely smash form pillar form and thrust form, each leading to a different kind of heavy hit and enhanced heavy hit. These forms can be switched freely during combat, and all enhanced heavy hits can trigger hitstun. 1. The smash stance tempo is fastest one.A pro tip for skilled players is that you can make a parry by using a heavy hit combo at the exact moment right before the boss's attack lands on you. 2. The pillar stance’s enhanced hit allows you to stay in the air, avoiding some ground attacks and stylishly smashing back. However, maintaining this stance rapidly depletes your stamina. 3. The thrust stance’s enhanced heavy hit can stop the boss's rush at a distance when dealing with close combat bosses. Additionally, the game offers various powerful abilities such as freezing, stiffening, clones and different transformation etc. The combat system is diverse, allowing you to choose different strategies to defeat different bosses, so it won’t suffer. Black Myth: Wukong encourages an active attacking style, not just defensive counterattacks. This is not a Sekiro or Souls-like game! The combat tempo is faster but still perilous. If your skills are up to par, you can continuously trigger a boss's hitstun, leading to smooth and thrilling combat.

    We need a demo on the PSN store before the end of July. I can't stress enough how important it was for Stellar Blade to pop-off the way it did with theirs.

    I think block or parry or defensive transformations might be later in the game skill / transformation tree

    I pre ordered the game after finding out IGN's hit piece against the game devs Game Science all because of misinterpreted Chinese translations to english and overall for a indie game dev this game looks incredible 👌

  • We are not playing as wukong at first but later he becomes playable it's very clear on the trailers the first monkey is not wukong

    Is the combat based on decreasing your opponents stamina or chi in order to hit health?

    After getting married in April, I still haven't beaten Stellar Blade lol. I don't know how much more I can be a gamer 😂

    I just want to know how hard the game is. I am not a big fan of souls like game where I have to die several times to be able to beat the boss. I am more a narrative loving and action lover. I liked stellar blade Jedi survivor a lot. So that would be my biggest question that is there a difficulty choice like Jedi survivor and stellar blade where you can not defeat a boss without dying several times
