I found this video and music by Los Aguilares by accident. I am a proud Tejano and I love their music. Here in Bakersfield, California we only get to hear tejano music on Saturday on 90.1 Radio Bilingue....on the Alma Garza Show. I was born in Del Rio, Tejas, but raised in California, I miss my home State and Tejano music...one day I plan to return....

Absolutely love this video. Brings back so many memories of times spent with the Aguilar family & Los Aguilares. Especially when both my parents were still alive. I'm watching with a huge lump in my throat. They played for my wedding back in 1997. Just loved Emilio and Genaro. RIP Mr. Aguilar as my sister and I used to call him...he was a wonderful person. I still love their music. Thanks for the memories...

I discovered Los Aguilares too late to get to see them live, but thanks to tributes like this, I get to enjoy their work. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to share in such an important and beautiful part of our history and tradition. Los Aguilares encompass so much of what is good about being Tejano.
