  • I can't believe they used Edward Snowden for the title and not "John Oliver praises the Sinaloa Cartel 's cocaine quality"
  • @DaDunge
The Sinaloa cartel just came out with a response statement "We are glad you enjoy our product John Oliver but would prefer it if you did not compare us to FIFA"
  • Headlines tomorrow are "Fifa CEO missing" and John receives a note in the mail "You were nice to us, were nice to you"
  • @curtiscox6469
"when you have lost the moral high ground to FIFA, you are moraly subterranean!" that's a great line 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  • @micahbawden6494
You have truly lost the moral high ground when FIFA calls you out for crimes against humanity
  • @aussiepie4865
If your ratings need a boost just get John Oliver on and let him go. Not as manic as the late Robin Williams but can go off track just as good.
  • @k-matsu
In all fairness to FIFA, their proposal was for Russian teams to compete as the "Football Union of Russia". This would have meant that the name appearing on your TV screen during the game would have read : "FU Russia" If that wasnt a deliberate attempt at shade, then coincidence is a genius.
  • @brianal1808
I do love John Oliver, and when he is not scripted he is even better. 😂❤️
  • @AlexBooks13
there are two striking things in this: 1) Losing moral high ground to fifa is truly wild 2) People RELAXED when they realised it's about Snowden and not Crimea is just WOW
  • @lh3540
I love how John gets in these loops of impulse control failure
  • I totally loved the Snowden-episode. I wish he'd do more interviews like that one again.
  • @pikeyMcBarkin
You can tell that Seth really enjoys John Oliver being on the show.
  • @ms0824
That Sinaloa cartel bit was hilarious 😆🤣😂
  • @screenplaya4562
"We at the Sinaloa Cartel know you have your choice in cocaine-dealing cartels, and that's why we have hired John Oliver as our spokesman. And remember, you can't spell SIN without Sinaloa."
  • This whole interview feels like a giant outtake and I'm loving every second! 😁 The interview with John two years ago was actually what brought you into my YouTube feed, Seth. And I'm so glad, because you really were a joy during lockdown and have continued to be one. Though I gotta admit I mostly just watch "A closer look" and "corrections". You and John, in my opinion, adapted best to the lockdown setting in very different but effective ways.
  • @kellyg358
John is absolutely right: he really does go on Seth's show and burn the world down. 😂 Edit: I need John saying "What's the worst that could happen?" made into a meme please.
  • @21til85
John Oliver is the perfect host and the perfect guest. How does that work?!
  • I’m glad John thinks about possible gif-able moments for us, because I’m always on the lookout for new JO reaction gifs for everyday use
