Do expensive bike parts make that much of a difference on our identical Polygon Siskiu D5's?

  • Props to you for spending a ton of your own money on making an actually good high low series unlike another channel that just shilled their sponsors products and didnt do budget parts any justice
  • @GokkunGuru
Just when Chad was showing some humbleness, he shows a carbon frame as a cliffhanger. Awesome man! Just brilliant. I love Chad. I'm one myself!
  • @dimimtb
This was a great series! No shame with that walk, stuff looked scary as hell. Now I need to figure out how to save up for carbon hoops for my Optic LOL.
  • @flybyguy1450
Really surprised the Z2 didn't work well for you, it's been fantastic for me.
  • @nofacemtb9481
Law of diminishing returns definitely kicked in on the high bike. Furthermore, the low bike did not have "cheap" parts......it had "less expensive," quality parts.
  • So glad I got to be a part of this Evan, keep on shredding!🤙
  • This is exactly what I wanted the pink bike series to be! Thanks for the fantastic series!
  • @TonersR6
As someone who's been researching budget entry level bikes for a while now, all I can say is thank you. I binged this entire high/low series and it's exactly the kind of information I've been looking for as a beginner. I hope you do more videos/series like this. Thank you so much.
  • @ZenoGy
Every episode of this series has been informative as well as entertaining . The breathtaking scenic beauty was a wonderful finale . Thank you for the time and detailed care you put into it .
  • @celticknyt
Awesome series and thanks so much for all the effort, very well put together. I would love to see a "Sweet Spot" series where you compare and test the major components across the price range and find the point where performance gains are largely unnoticeable for a typical rider.
  • @Adroit1911
The editing on this video is pretty well done. It's been fun watching your saga grow! Nicely done!!
  • @cstavrou74
Another great video Evan! I'm still appreciative that you introduced me to Vitus bikes. I just finished building up an Escarpe frame. My first carbon framed bike! It never stops! Keep the videos coming!
  • @HavokTheorem
Really enjoyed this Evan. Top tier content from a channel with <40k subs, quite something. I think beyond any aspect of production in particular, what shone through was your personality and methodology. You made parts choices that were reasonable picks in context and never did it feel like you were concealing or avoiding the difficulties that the average person would face. And of course, it wasn't a total farce a-la-Pinkbike :)
  • @Todd66
Pretty epic scenery, that must have been a awesome day. Really glad you had the save instead of a rocky fail. The ultra high end is too Gucci for the most part…but they do have a nice resale value, so it’s not a total money burn. Pretty fun series. Your videos are quality enough and you are good enough in front of the camera to make a little longer vids if you ever wanted to. Remember we are all here for content, so the more content the better. Regardless though, nice job. 👍🏻 This series was fun, even though I wish the videos were longer. I think you have more than earned a subscriber, so I’m in.
  • @ald1389
One of my favorite youtube series EVER. Great job Evan! You should be very proud dude
  • @DcCock
What a great series. Sometimes the algorithm comes through and recommends something great and this was one of those times.
  • @ichor20
Just bought my first gravel bike last week. Watching reviews for the bike i purchased this channel came in recommended. Been enjoying it greatly and now subscribed.
  • This was legit the best series in biking of this history of YouTube. Man your effort really showed here! I love it and thank you for making it
  • @XMrPineappleX
Big fan of the series! It actually helped guide me through my new bike purchase and I'm glad I went with the fox 34 fork. Keep up the awesome content!
