The photo backdrop pictures are a Faller product. They are mounted to paper which is glued to styrofoam panels. I made up the panels using scrap pieces which are hot glued together. They slip into styrofoam brackets, also hot glued together and placed along the outside edges of the layout. This way I can move the panels from front to sides to back as desired.
The passenger coach lighting is LED strip lights cut into sections. Bridge rectifier, capacitor, diode, and resistors make up the circuit and I put a circuit into each coach. That way I can run one or more coaches in either orientation, on DC or DCC layouts with "keep-alive" of about 2 minutes.
Post any questions and I'll do my best to answer or provide more information.

Looking good Tom. Like the backdrops. I need to add some to mine some day as well. I really don't like seeing my basement in the background of my shots. But hey we do what we can do. Keep up the good work.

Hi Tom! I like the idea of moveable backdrops. I have some glued to hardboard, I use spring clamps to hold them to the facia wherever I want. Your work on the coach lighting went way over my head lol. But good job! Take care - Bill.

Great video Tom! A very nice look at your layout and your backdrops!! It looks great! The item next to the white pickup by the shop, is that a fuel tank that came with the C&I set? I like it.
