happy season 4! this season may POSSIBLY be the final one, although dont take my word on that. they did infact set up a plot for the next season, but its still up in the air if theyll make a fifth season. if this is the end of the show, thank you all for your support in the past 2 years! i'm so glad i got to share this show with other people X) and as you all know, i'll be updating my macaque compilation next and then making one for azure lion. after that, probably nothing until i Possibly inevitably have to update it with whatever comes next.

I cannot get over how GENIUS of a casting choice it was to cast Sean Schemmel, voice of Son Goku, as Sun Wu Kong. It's such a perfect fit

1:01:43 I just noticed that when Tang talked, a golden cicada flies in, wich indicate that Tang is indeed linked to the great monk because the monk was the reincarnation of a celestial named golden cicada. Also the fact that the great monk's actual name is Tang Sanzang (I did not know that, the more you know 😅) really helps

Allowing Schemmel and Sabat to do some actual acting is a joy to witness. They’re incredible.

Also this has to be some of the BEST voice acting I’ve heard out of Sean in years. Especially the argument with Macaque during the early days of Wukong’s imprisonment, it’s little wonder it’s one of the most replayed moments in the comp.

When he was speaking to the Lady Bone demon 19:26 and 19:52 "Oh yeah... well I'm the King" and I love how he was so angry at Macaque that he forced him out of his dragged him out of his portal as he was trying to get away 1:01:28 and I like how Wukong fully put on his armor to fight The Lady Bone Demon and I love how he was so serious in there fight he was gonna kill a kid 1:06:22 "I told u should of stayed buried"

When monkey king talks about focus, he's actually right. As someone who used to be in choir, I can tell you, you have to pay attention to EVERY. LITTLE. DETAIL! You have to pay attention to the conductor, the people standing next to you, the music, the audience (when you're performing), how much time you have left (when you're rehearsing), and this is BARELY scratching the surface. Of course, you even have to pay attention to everything going on with yourself, your breathing, making sure your posture is correct, using yawn space, timing, staying relaxed and confident, you even have to pay attention to smiling, it's nuts. While you're paying attention to all of these things, the one thing you will always be focusing on is this: sing your part, sing it well, and have fun. And if everyone in the choir can focus on that, you're going to have a stellar performance. Now you might be thinking: "NG, where are you going with all this?" And to that I say, what Wukong is talking about is a real thing, and it generally makes more sense in practice than as a concept. (P.S. I know I'm making choir sound exhausting and like a chore, and while often times it is, to me performing, the people you meet, the music itself, and learning make it all worth it; passion's a funny thing like that, ain't it? To explain yawn space, it's creating space in the back of your throat [just like when you're yawning, woah! :O] in order to round out the vouls and help get rid of those pesky hard dift-thongs [I have no idea if I spelled that right ;~;]. This combined with good breathing and smiling makes a light, round, and powerful sound. Man... this got WAY too long didn't it?
