Thank u for doing this, she sounded elderly. I had a scammer call me, I pissed him off by saying over and over, “your English isn’t good, I can’t understand a word you are saying!” He just hung up

I used to mess with these people and say horrible things to them daily. I would call like 20 times a day because they pissed me off so bad. You have taken it to a whole other level. You save people. You are truly a hero!!

This brought tears to my eyes. What a Mitzvah you are doing for people!

Thanks for what you do!! Also, as a PSA to everyone: My brother, college age, just got scammed in August 2022. The scammer pretended to be his boss, saying he was in a meeting and couldn’t talk but could text. He then asked for a favor to get gift cards. PLESSE BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM AS WELL! The scammer used perfect English which made it harder to identify as a scam! My brother got $200 back out of the $600 scam back after calling Apple, though still is waiting for Apple to refund the rest. Fun fact: when he was informed it was a scam? He check exhaust iTunes and a a P.O. gift cards still had the balance on them and were locked. Just thought I’d share, they’ll try ANY TACTIC on any demographic!!

Thank you so much. Another thing to consider is the United States is pursuing closer ties with India. Given that the huge majority of both Indians and Americans think these scammers are a huge nuisance, maybe we can make them an international diplomatic issue?
