Love this. Have you thought of a āiPad for dummiesā for us who donāt know the basics

Voiceover is probably worth highlighting. It was this utility that got me to buy an iPhone and iPad. Itās been a vital, if quirky, tool since my eye-sight deteriorated three years ago.
-
This is a welcome addition. Too often I watch your iPhone videos and then try to duplicate the process on my iPad, only to find the iPad either doesn't use this feature or it uses a different way to get there. My iPad goes with me wherever I go, so help with iPad issues are very valuable to me.

Holy crap, how did I not know about the multi-app tap for Home Screen reorg at 7:30 - amazing, thank you

I found your two recent iPad tips to be extremely beneficial. I might only remember one or two tips from each video, but I can refer back to refresh my 71 year old brain. My M2 iPad 12.9ā is my daily driver. I probably spend more time on it than my Macs or iPhone.

To type the Esc key without having to remap Caps Lock or one of the other ones, you can press Ctrl+[ - this key combination has been around since the dawn of time, and has to do with what the āCtrlā key did on ASCII computer terminals way back when. Basically, the ASCII code for āEscā is 27 decimal, or 1B in hexadecimal (00011011 binary). The āCtrlā key masks out the leftmost 3 bits, and the ASCII code for ā[ā is 5B hex / 01011011 binary. So Ctrl + [ makes the left three bits into 0ās, resulting in 00011011 , or 1B in hex, which isā¦ the āEscā character. Similarly, the line feed character (1A / 00001010) is Ctrl + J (J is 4A / 01001010) ā¦ carriage return is Ctrl + M etc. This is also why Apple operating systems and products, which have roots in Unix, which has roots in the teletype systems of the past, have separate Ctrl and Cmd keys.

Great tips, love that your demo of how to configure each is clear and makes it simple. I have an iPad Mini and the Apple pencil (with paperlike) and all the tips for using the pencil were new to me and helpful. Thx!

Really useful tips and I absolutely loved the tip on moving multiple apps. Thank you so much.
-
Loved the calculation tip and also using quick notes as an easy way to save links. Iāve been using Paperlike since shortly after buying my iPad and it was a game changer for me as I use Notes all the time. Thank you!
-
Great vid! Definitely will be using the audio feature of reading articles out loud & Notes features!
-
Excellent tips. I had no idea about some of the tips you gave. Please publish a book of such guides, and I would like to purchase one. Thank you for the tips.
-
Another absolutely amazing video. I learned so much. Instead of a screen protector like paper like, I used a silicon nib. They work great and might be just a little more cost effective. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE TIME AND EFFORT YOU PUT INTO YOUR VIDEOS. WELL DONE!
