It’s actually wildly impressive how durable these things are for how thin they are. It feels more like a design exercise than anything else to make them THIS thin, but it’s such a flex to be able to have that form factor and not have it be super fragile.

I remember when in the early 00's cell phones were getting ridiculously small, like fun sized candy bar sized small. Then people realized that there was a limit to how small/thin an item you have to handle to use should be and they started to get bigger. I think we have reached that point with tablets and computers. Making the camera module sit flush would have been a better improvement over thinner IMO.

Holy crap , as a user and a purchaser of these devices I really did not expect such an easy split on this device vertically, I thought for sure horizontally there would be a failure. Still seeing such a beautiful piece of hardware destroyed like this really turns my stomach.
