Ive been doing nicotine for 52 years...i can confirm its not addictive
  • "no intoxication" is because youve built a tolerance. Its plenty intoxicating.

As someone who has quit smoking a few times, and definitely done now, I can for sure say I crave the feeling of wanting to smoke something way more than the feeling of whatever is being smoked.

"I've been using nicotine for 52 years" obviously they're not addictive.

nicotine is still addictive, simply because cigarettes are moreso doesnt mean nicotine isnt. they add hundreds of ingredients into cigarettes to make the cigarette more addictive, concentrated nicotine is still addictive, and ive seen and still see it first hand in my life.

You could compete in the Olympics with mental gymnastics like these
  • Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety, smoking, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not, in a couple of years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.

Interesting take, but I disagree. I think what might have happened with the fire is that you got a flashback of smoking and had a placebo of smoking cigarettes. When you switched to vaping you are still in fact getting nicotine, just in vapour form. What in my mind makes you think that you are not addicted is that you fulfill your body nicotine requirements before the craving (Vaping is an easy nicotine access). Therefore, you don't feel like you would have cravings after stopping. What I would suggest is to try to quit vaping for a month and see how would you hold on. If quitting will just prove your point then you are a superhero and your body is needed for science research :DD. Thank you for interesting opinion and hope you have a great day!

agreed 100 percent, i believe its the same with habitual cannabis users, its the smoking aspect itself that is addictive

i too have noticed that consumable nicotine is MUCH less addictive than smoking and vaping. i use pouches periodically when im busy and the i stop after i finish whatever task i was using the stimulant for.

I did try to look up scientific papers on the harm of nicotine specifically. 9 out of 10 of them basically said that nicotine = smoking cigarettes. They went at length about dangers of nicotine, yet the the only delivery method was cigarettes. Not cigars/hookah/pipes/vapes/patches/gum but cigarettes. The one I did find about administering just nicotine dissolved in water, ended up as a mild focus improvement with inconclusive results on danger/addiction.

This makes sense as to why I can stop using nicotine replacement therapy as long as I don’t use my vaporizer weed pen, every time I use my weed pen I crave the feeling of the smoke and I just wanna keep hitting it…

i think “addictive” means that if used for a long amount of time , and then deciding to quit and having WITHDRAWLS . That’s what addiction is when it’s hard to quit

It’s great how you’ve done your own research rather than blindly listening to “the experts” ❤❤
