so porsche had tire warmers, and corvette didnt??
  • honestly shows you how confident GM and Porsche are to agree to having their car go head to head against their rival.

44 minutes of comparing two of the coolest sounding cars still made in 2023, I am in!
  • @Newguy56
Never in my life would I have ever thought that a corvette would out run a gt3. Gm really outdone themselves.
  • @kevind2760
So proud of GM. While the Ford GT is off-the-hook insane, I wish they would do something like the Corvette that is more attainable.

I'm not a motoring enthusiast but this channel helps me understand the passion people have for cars better than just about anything I've seen. Thank you guys.

The amount of coordination with manufacturers, and the test track, the incredible cinematography and drones and multiple angles of camera shots, the time editing and learning all of the fine details about both of these cars! Its all simply amazing! This is the kind of thing I would hope for someone like Motortrend to play on saturday mornings, but its so much better! Its a testament to y'alls dedication to cars and the car community. Thank you for the work you put into these videos for us to enjoy!

One can only IMAGINE how capable the ZR1 will be. Almost unfathomable
  • @mr.fukk12
I can’t even imagine how fast the zr1 is gonna be. The c6 zr1 is still one of my favorite cars of all time
  • I can't get over how you guys accomplish these kinds of things. I can't believe you guys take this much care and effort to bring us this kind of information. It's appreciated.
  • How the hell did you manage to convince both chevy and porsche to come out for this?💀Great job . Been watching since the turbowski days. Good to see you evolve into a form that stays true to your origins and still do well in terms of viewership. Thankful as always. Please keep making these. As soon as I get a job, I will support them.
  • I look at both of these cars and I can't help but feel a sense of pride. GM looks human again after making the Z06, a world beater from Bowling Green Kentucky. The Porsche on the other hand makes me feel like they made that car for me- the driver, no compromises, just pure speed and passion. Both companies made an emotional decision to make a car that was for us. I just feel like they were both thinking of me when they designed them. The past few years have been shit for all of us. Chevy and Porsche made things better, even if I can't afford either the world is better now that they are here. I haven't seen that in any industry in a long time.
  • I cannot believe such high quality content was delivered at no cost to YouTube. Thanks Mark and Jack for these amazing videos.
  • I love that GM and Porsche are still carrying the torch for N/A powered supercars as so many other manufactures are ditching them. Corvette could've gone with a supercharged Lt5 and called it a day, but instead they made an all new flat plane crank V8 and still pushed more power than the old Lt4.
  • You guys win the internet for at least a month. You brought us the battle we've all wanted.

The camaraderie between the teams is the most wholesome thing ever. They have everything to be proud of with these two top-level machines. I admit I was thinking the Porsche was going to edge out the Z06... but I knew the Z06 was a true contender for once, no excuses. But when the final numbers were shown, I said, "Huh, will you look at that ". Well done, Porsche and Chevy. Well done Savage Geese. This has been a well spent 44 minutes. Awesome.

For years the corvette has been attainable to the average buyer. Porsche is and has always remained expensive. If you go to the DuPont Registry there are loads of Porsches available, many with low mileage. Just pray nothing breaks. The one thing that keeps the Corvette attainable is the after market companies. A good buy is an older Corvette Z06, almost any year, but the C6 years seem to be getting good reviews.

I absolutely love how the porsche and corvette teams came together for this video compared to other iconic manufacturers not even wanting to give a car at all. The fact that these teams were willing to put their money where their mouths are speaks volumes about the products they’ve created. Also, great job putting together this video. It was incredibly informative and entertaining at the same time. Your cinematography skills have improved tremendously over the years as well. Thank you for making this content for us all to enjoy!
  • Two of the most impressive vehicles on sale today, and both NA! I’ll choose the GT3, just something about that flat 6 howl and engineering.
  • Loved this video, really interesting. The fact that the ZO6 is so competitive and made in the USA is great!
