  • 1994, one of the greatest years ever for movies. I came home from Europe to the US to see Lion King, Pulp Fiction, Schindler's List and Forrest Gump. Wild!
  • @kdryan21
Are you going to tell me that Saving Private Ryan is not one of the 100 greatest films of all time?
  • As a kid I didn’t love Empire Strikes Back, but as an adult I think it was the best of all of the Star Wars movies. I don’t know where it should be in the top movies of all time, but I definitely believe it should be in the discussion for top 100.
  • Forrest Gump isn't in here? Are freaking kidding me? Literally one of the greatest movies of the 90s and all time. Bubba Gump Shrimp actually became a restaurant chain, Gary Sinise actually had a career and became the face of disabled veterans everywhere, Tom Hanks became more famous than he ever was, we got the catch-phrase "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get."
  • Heat, Collateral, Minority report, Dark City, Prisoners, The Raid, The Road, Old Boy, The propotition, Unforgiven, Primal Fear, Nightcrawler, The thing, Eastern Promises, History of Violence are some movies that I think deserve to be in top 100
  • One cool thing about Pulp Fiction, is John Travoltas role was originally supposed to be portrayed by Michael Madsen, but there was a last minute change. If you watch Travolta in that role, he seems to use a lot of Madsens mannerisms and expressions, you can almost see Micheal Madsen doing it, it's pretty cool, I think.
  • This list doesn't really make much sense. I know they are trying to include a wide array of movies that are culturally relevant but some of these for top 100 of ALL-TIME are questionable. There are so many stone cold classics missing it's insane. I love Anchorman as much as anyone but is it really better than Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart, Groundhog Day, Apollo 13, E.T., Tootsie, the Karate Kid, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Field of Dreams, Glory, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Rain Man, The Fugitive, Forrest Gump, Almost Famous, Jerry Maguire, Good Will Hunting, the Truman Show, the Sixth Sense, and about 2 dozen more movies I could list off the top of my head? I doubt it.
  • I’m shocked that Ben Hur with Charlton Heston didn’t make your list! Wow!

  • Something makes me think that The Matrix and Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back are going to be on this list
  • Tim Robbins is such a underrated actor for the Shawshank redemption and also jacobs ladder, he should get a lot more recognition for those amazing performances
  • How do the following moves NOT make the list?! • There are a lot of movies missing and movies that are not top 100 worthy but making the list is a difficult thing and I think they did a great job.
  • Expect some super popular movies to be in here, and not necessarily the best ones.
  • The Lord of the Rings Films Will Always Be My Favorite. I'm an Adventure Kind of Guy, and The Scope of the Adventure in these films are Unparalleled.
