If anyone watches "Rollerball" from 1974, you'll understand why the remake failed. And "I Know Who Killed Me" didn't kill Lindsey Lohan's career. She did that all by herself.

I actually really liked John Carter I was impressed by the acting and the story was pretty cool

Geena Davis redeemed herself with “A long kiss goodnight”. What an awesome film. but Hollywood couldn’t get over her “cutthroat island” film 🥴
  • You know what Tank Girl is one of my guilty pleasures I didn’t know it ruined Lori Petty’s career.

Catwoman. Halle Berry is one of the few actors who accepted a Razzie in person for that roll

I feel bad for Taylor Kitsch. He's a really great actor, just got cast in a few big flops and messed up his career. Anyone who's scene him in Friday Night Lights, Waco, and True Detective season 2 knows how good he is

I think the drugs and alcohol messed up Lohan's career but sure we'll blame it on a movie.
  • 13:59 Clooney looking down to find his mark is hilarious. They really did not care at all

Xanadu was the bomb. Saw it in theaters 3x, as did all my friends. Gene Kelly was almost 70 when he made that. Was already heading into retirement…it was obvious he did it for one last big paycheck but he still pulled off his magic.
  • Rodman, Shaq are examples where sports & acting need to stay separate. Same for majority influencers/reality stars??

Justice for Showgirls. It’s a camp classic imo

"More like chairman of the BORED" - Norm McDonald

"The Love Guru" wasn't the only thing that killed his career, it just twisted the knife. Five years earlier he did "The Cat in the Hat", Well, it would more accurate to say he HAD to it. Myers had pulled out of any movie after money had been sunk into it. The studio threatened him with $20 million. A deal was worked out where he would star in this new movie. Now, just limited small cameos... he was in Bohemian Rhapsody for one.
  • The film wasn't the reason Alicia Silverstone didn't act for awhile. It was because people were fat shaming her to the point she thought about quitting acting. A lot of people are such jerks
  • @Pyke_
That almost happened to George Clooney after Batman & Robin. A couple of good movies and performances saved the guy
  • i actually enjoyed John Carter, thought it was funny and an interesting plot honestly :/

Lori Petty was incredible in Tank Girl. Really unfortunate how she suffered because of it.

"John Carter" is the only film on this list which was actually a very good film. I have it and watch it every so often. It's just a pity that it bombed.
