If I ever crash my Golf Sportwagen 4motion manual , Id love a Mini as my next unreliable daily.

You should do a video about "vehicle reliability" as a topic. I feel like there are a lot of misconceptions out there about why vehicles are unreliable, what ratings like JD Power means etc. It would be nice to have a car channel go over the ins and outs of what makes a vehicle reliable and what doesn't. And I could think of no better channel to do it.

Gotta say, Jack has a very whimsical speaking voice. His whimsical demeanor makes him a great YouTube personality

You’re my little 8-speed Aisin transmission, Jack.

Take the Whimsical Shot Challenge... take a shot of whiskey every time you hear "Whimsy" or "Whimsical"... you will be dead before the video is over.

Got one of the last 6-speed, Clubman JCWs. Fun daily.

I like watching your reviews to know what to buy used in 10 years 😅

Had a 2015 JCW 2 door as a daily for 4 years. No issues, just a ton of fun. Bought a new '19' Civic SI which has been in the shop 4 times for AC. They’ve had the dash out twice to repair it. Still has a mind of its own. Earlier MINI's were bad, but the last generation has been reliable, just ask any owner. ✌️

I had one of these as a rental last year in it's 3 cylinder form and man did it have character. I would have never looked at this or even remember they existed until then. Really enjoyed it

Would be fun to see a review of the regular 2-door JCW with the manual. Seems like it would be an entirely different experience.

Wow, someone finally reviewed one of these. I'm always puzzled by how little coverage these got. I'm also puzzled why this is getting reviewed now.....These are all gone already. You can't go order one if you wanted to now. I'll just enjoy my fun with mine.

The JCWs have always been cool and very capable but man always so expensive, and being BMW Minis the reliability is always in the back of your mind

I love the cold, logical, cut-and-dry statements made by Chris when describing the car, almost like in a "Okay, what's next" kind of way. He needs to stick with that shtick because he does it well. I can tell it's the real him with his honest thoughts, and that's what I love about this channel. You're all honest, but go about it in different ways. 3 different kinds of humor 😁👌

My spouse and I own an F54 and F57. Both are sticks and both are a riot to drive and wonderful to own. They put a smile on my face whenever I look back at them. And the commute is so much more bearable. It makes me wonder why people malign BMW Mini. Sure they changed from the original. But these 3rd gens are gems IMO. BMW sure did a better job than the badge engineering dumpster fire of GM/Saab. The only "downside" is BMW maintenance costs, but DIY solves that. Anyway, as many have said. As the world continues to spit out appliances with no personality, I'll be holding on the one of the last fun cars until someone pulls it from my cold dead hands. Hopefully the 4th gen brings along the same magic. Btw, both have been two of the most reliable and well- made cars we have owned-including Hondas, Toyotas and Mazdas. But you need to look after them with regular and thoughtful maintenance.

Got a 2016 clubman S in October, fun car to zip around in, been really enjoying the clubman Facebook community and being one of the few with one of these on the road you’ll definitely standout from the crowd, lots of aftermarket options to personalize it too, MINI is a fun brand ❤
