They show pacinos face and then...the violins...he tears up the card and tosses it overboard and the pieces scatter into the ocean...just like his hopes and dreams. Brilliant

Trafficant is a boss, Lefty is just a made guy. The book states that wiseguys are rude and self-centered in general. Note how rude Lefty was to Donnie at first. BTW: Pistone liked Sonny Black better than Lefty. He said Sonny Black was almost a regular guy once business was over.
