  • When I’m planting with my boyfriend, I always find myself telling him “well Hollis said….” We are learning so much from you and following your methods. I’ve been sprinkling black kow, bonemeal, and bloodmeal all over my garden, lol 😊

  • Awesome! You folks are such an inspiration! we are currently reaping the benfits of watching your guidance this winter for the first time. Our carrots, spinach, beets , lettuce and even green house tomatoes out here in the desert. Many Blessings...Prayers for our Country and others !
  • I love watching carrot videos. I also love Nancy's winter coat and hat, and matching boots. That's what I am talking about, gardening in style. You go, Nancy! Take care.

Hi Hollis and Nancy, Thanks so much for everything I have learned through the years. I saw something interesting from a Canadian carrot 🥕 grower last week. I don't remember her channel. Anyway, she made a thick pudding from just cornstarch and water. When it was cool, she stirred in her carrot 🥕 seeds. Then she put it into a ziplock gallon bag. She cut a tiny hole on one corner. Then she made a fine line of carrot seed cornstarch pudding in her row. Covered it and watered. All it cost her was seed, cornstarch and a gallon bag. I thought it was genius and felt shame that I couldn't have thought about it 40 yrs ago. 👋🤣

Love these progression videos. You always give so many tips and info. Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials—you have definitely improved my gardening! Edited to add I have been using Black Kow since I first saw you adding it several years ago. It is a wonderful addition to my raised beds.

You know, I was wondering if those devices worked as advertised. I'm glad to here you tested one out, and liked it enough to buy one for yourself. A seed sowing device that actually takes only a couple of minutes to plant 1,000 carrots, and no bending?! Worth it!!! Thanks for showing us how to use it. Pelleted seeds. Ok then. Oh, and you pull, not push. "Develop into the carrots that God meant them to be." Hilariously said! The carrots look so good. I'm certain that the carrots at the store don't taste anywhere near as good as yours. I can't grow year round - NJ is too cold for that. But I look forward to planting my own following your tips. This is another great video. Thank you!

Thank you so much going in depth with the bone meal. Could you maybe do a in depth video on the bone meal and blood meal. Also I absolutely love the diagrams you do. They really help me understand how this all works. Thank you! -Sandi

We ordered the same carrot seeds from Johnny's Seed Co., and my husband made the carrot seed template tonight. We will plant our carrots tomorrow! We will keep you posted. Your names are household names in our home and my parents are now subscribed to your channel. Thank you again for everything you do and share. God bless you both and all of your endeavors.
