This looks interesting to grow and eat. I will try it this fall using the 3 gallon nursery pot. Thank you both for inspiring us to grow a home garden !

This is one of my favorite vegetables. The greens on this vegetable is fantastic. I am so glad to see this video. Thank you again for the education. 👽✌️
  • I grew kohlrabi here in NC for the first time this spring. Very easy to grow, full of vitamin C, too. I ended up just slicing and taking to work to crunch on raw. Going to transplant some seedlings to containers soon. I can also see potential for making coleslaw with this!

Ok Hollis, you convinced me! I'm dragging out my seeds and getting some started. I have never grown these. I thought they took months like cabbage, and ya know how it's hard to grow cabbage here! Flies, bugs, and then there is bugs and flies. 😆😆
  • I grow kohlrabi here in southern Maine but I learned a few new things on how to grow them better from you. I like to preserve my kohlrabi by slicing them about the size of sliced water chestnuts, blanching and freezing them. I use them in place of water chestnuts in Asian cooking. I dehydrate the leaves, 0:16 then pulverize them into a green powder which I mix in with other green powders and add to meatloaf and soups in small amounts to add more nutrition. I love your easy teaching style and how you demonstrate how to cook the veggies when you harvest them. I’m looking forward to spring and garden season.

The Kohlrabi looks good. I just find it hard to branch out from my old tried and true collards and turnips enough to try it. But your video might have convinced me to plant some this fall. I've been tuned in your channel for a while now and I really like your videos. Maybe especially the fishing ones and those like this one from planting to harvest type videos. Thanks for sharing and may God bless. 👍

I absolutely love kohlrabi, it's one of my favorite veggies. My father always grw them he always put them in soup. I prefer to eat them raw, but you can't let them grow to big if you eat them raw. Thank you for your show
  • I love your videos. You are both blessed. I live in Fort Walton Beack, Florida. Have you given thought to maybe having a physical class? I would love to come visit and pay to stay one night. Being in the quiet would be so good for people trapped in the city. Coffee and prayer would top it off. !!😍
  • Kohlrabi is such fun to grow! And it’s great to eat! Looks like a spacecraft!!! Great for daring your kids to eat it ! Lol!!!
