Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is located deep in the Kumaon highlands and is home to various birds and animals. Walking around terraced fields and excellent, ancient forest paths is flexible and available to anyone. The Saryu and Pindar Valleys, just a few miles from the Tibetan and Nepalese borders, are home to lovely, self-contained settlements. Towering Himalayan peaks, alpine-like fields, beautiful, leg-stretching treks, and hill-side towns are our idealised view of the Himalayas, with the prominent high peaks so close.
