About Sebastian Kuruvilla ,Responsible Tourism Activist

Sebastian Kuruvilla is a Responsible Tourism researcher and activist from Kottayam, a small town in South India with Post graduations in Business Administration and Responsible Tourism Management from the UK. He has membership in GSTC, WTN, ICRT, and Sustainable Tourism Foundation, Delhi.

Owing to his passion for Responsible tourism and related matters, he has actively engaged in promoting sustainable tourism. He has organised and participated in symposiums and conferences on sustainable tourism in India and abroad. He has obtained a Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Responsible Tourism Management from Leeds Beckett University, England, the only post-graduate course in Responsible Tourism Management certified by the UNWTO TedQual programme established by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation. He has completed a Community-based tourism training course for tourism professionals and researchers conducted by the Geneva-based International Trade Centre in Switzerland in May-June 2021.
