The criminals constantly looking at the darkness fearing that Batman will emerge will forever be one of the most chilling scenes in superhero medium.
-
“They think I am hiding in the shadows. Watching. Waiting to strike. I am the shadows.” Chills. What an amazing piece of cinema.
-
The prologue of this movie is a masterpiece, it deserves so much study an attention.
-
The scene with Batman narrating and this music playing…pure masterclass
-
What an absolutely killer intro to Batman this was. He doesn't even appear until the subway... but it feels like he's everywhere.
-
"Thursday. October 31st" "The city streets are crowded for the holiday. Even with the rain. Hidden in the chaos is the element, waiting to strike like snakes. But I'm there too, Watching. Two years of nights have turned me into a noctural animal. I must choose my targets carefully. It's a big city. I can't be everywhere. We have a signal now, for when I'm needed. But when that light hits the sky. It's not just a call, it's a warning. To Them. Fear is a tool. They think I'm hiding in the shadows. But I am the shadows." - The Batman (2022)

Just saw the movie, not gonna spoil anything but this piece of music shows Batman isn’t just a man, he’s a presence in every shadow.
-
I love how Batman is basically the Boogeyman in this movie. Everyone fears him, criminals think of him as a haunting presence. He can't be everywhere, but he could be anywhere.
-
2:17 is amazing. The bells of judgement.
-
absolutely love this, the string used in it are so creepy

We have a signal now. For when i'm needed. When that light hits the Sky They'll know It's not just a call It's a warning To them Fear Is a tool They think i'm hiding in the shadows BUT I AM THE SHADOWS
-
had my heart pounding during the opening scene with bruce's narration and the thugs freaking out over the bat signal and afraid of every shadow!
-
2:17 when it shows him suiting up with the red lighting, chills
-
2:45 This part will ALWAYS give me chills. It really captures the fear of the criminals in the beginning. “The chances of running into the Batman are low… BUT NEVER ZERO.”
-
“Thursday, October 31st…the city streets are crowded for the holiday, even with the rain.”
-
I love how Gotham is portrayed in the movie. I know it sounds weird, but bare with me: it’s like the city has a personality itself, affected by crime and corruption. Turning it into a city of fear, and that’s what I like
-
The best Batman theme. It starts like the music of a horror film, as Batman represents vengeance and anger. the song depicts the main character like he's a menace, an unstopable force. By the end of the film, his theme turns to be more heroic, as the Batman starts representing hope and justice, and becomes a true hero.
-
The first ten minutes lets you know this is going to be the best Batman movie.
-
The violins descending over and over at 2:46 expertly represents the fear Batman holds over criminals
-
The whole 'spiralling' in the background at 2:45 so perfectly conveys the fear and panic that the criminals feel when they see the signal in the sky.
