The way Dave pulls his gun out lol he really thinks he’s a gangster. He cracks me up in every scene. Sean Penn was phenomenal in this movie.

Notice at 5:09 Bennys face is full red as Carlitos is half red. Foreshadowing he’s not 100% the man he once used to be. Crazy cinematography!

Both the negative and positive in Carlito resulted in his death. Pride and mercy. The very essence of who he was caused his death, and he died happy, having became a better person and more importantly, always true to himself. Life or death he was always genuine

Such an under appreciated film. Everybody does such a great job. Pacino and Penn both should have been nominated for awards. Brilliant stuff.
