I put in a 60-day notice after I had an idea of where I wanted to move. I hopped on it quickly. Turned all my paperwork in. Gave them their deposit. My place was ready in 3 weeks prier to my 60day notice. I hired some professional movers. I'll be moving in 2 days. Everything is not packed yet, but I'm super excited!! They're getting mainly the heavy things. While I get some of the simple things like clothes, hygiene products, food, etc. I have until Nov. 15th to move everything. I'm a little bit nervous but overall happy at the same time. 😊

I got asked to move in 2 weeks early today, which is 2 days from now and I haven’t started packing. I’m freaking out !

I do not agree with not marking the boxes. It only takes a second to write "dishes","bedroom" "bathroom". This tells you at least what room they go to. This will save your sanity at your destination.

Whatever you do do not move last minute!! Plan it out in advance be smart, don't break your stuff, don't hurt yourself & don't stress out, plan it out! Great tips!

When labelling your boxes make sure to write any important info on the top and the sides of the box! You want to be able to read it if boxes get stacked on top of each other.

Appreciate this video! Its a good starting point for sure. Moving in about a month. Struggling with ADHD and the fact I haven't packed anything yet.

One of my first jobs was high volume shipping and receiving. Don't waste shipping tape (wastes time). Don't put it like belts over the flaps. You only need a letter H over the seams. Use 3" tape, not 2". For extra heavy bottoms WIDEN the thickness of the H with more tape. I don't use the big tape holders with the grip. Just hold the roll in your hand, snap off the edge with your teeth and slightly WRINKLE the end on the roll. With practice it gets faster...

I have a four year old and last week I had to care for my friends kids so I put off packing ! Now he’s given me a deadline to move and be ready by 9am staturday morning! It’s Thursday evening! Jerk 😢
