I was expecting actual Godzilla to fight him but I guess not even Godzilla himself could stop analog horror godzilla

so from what I understand, cursed goji switched places with the captain or moved him into the way maybe? causing him to be struck by the shell instead which is why there was blood splatter but the sailor said it had no effect, which decapitated the captain, then cursed goji bit of another sailors head before moving on to Tokyo. after a short while the real Godzilla arrives in Tokyo, the real Godzilla finds the city in shambles before spotting cursed goji who stares into his soul and corrupts it, creating another cursed goji? Pls respond if I got anything right here? Pls?
