Lyrics:

I'm looking in the rearview mirror
Everything looks the same
There's nothing but broken streetlights
And I'm just trying to escape

I'm waiting on a distant feeling
I'm waiting for things to change
It's getting hard to run on empty
But maybe I'm not so far away
Cuz it feels like home

I found a reason
And suddenly I'm not so alone
I'm finally breathing
Like I never could on my own
Start the countdown
Let's get it on
Scream my lungs out
To our favourite song
'Cause this is where I belong

I can tell you just don't get it
And that you'll never understand
I'm sorry that I can't be perfect
But I'm not changing who I am

Maybe there's no destination
Maybe I'm gonna make mistakes
I'll let you in on one of my secrets
I’m still just as lost as yesterday
But it feels like home

Look past the warning signs
The same ones that told me
I should just turn back and run
Play it safe before you come undone
If you saw through my eyes
This view was worth the climb
Believe me when I say
There's no place in this world I'd rather be

I’m so glad they did this video interacting with the tour! It was AMAZING live and this video really lets me relive the concert and let everyone who wasn’t able to attend, feel the electricity of those nights! Please tour together again!

I’m sitting here at 30 years old listening to this and it makes me feel like the teenager I was when I first started listening to Simple Plan. I love this song! Edit: 7 months after this comment I can’t believe the reactions it’s gotten. This song has helped me through some really tough times mentally this past year. I’m here to tell those of you that are just now seeing this, we got this. This is where we belong. 🙏🏼

simple plan started: 1999 we the kings started: 2005 state champs started: 2010 this really is three generations of pop punk brought together
  • Xia Brookside from TNA Wrestling led me to discover this band. She's currently using this song as her entrance theme. That being said, I'm a new fan, and I look forward to seeing this band in Nashville, TN this September!

2002: "I'm not where I belong." 2019: "This is where I belong!" The character development we all need!
  • Please don't let this genre die, this is an anthem of a our generation. Takes me back years when I first listened to simple plan.
  • One of the best collaborations in pop punk. Growing old with Simple Plan is the best ever.
  • I have to congratulate them, because they sound identically like 10 years ago.. so they decided to don’t contaminate themself for the music 🎵 tendencies great for you guys
  • I've loved Simple Plan since I was 21. I'm now 40. This is how aging Pop-Punkers should live their life! STILL having fun, loving our kids and growing old gracefully.
