good choice. my best friend ran into a similar problem. she did undergrad and then med school at Harvard (8 years total). when confronted with the opportunity to continue to specialize again, at Harvard, and continue her education, she made the big decision to leave. She felt she had simply spent too much time there and wanted change, plus east coast winters were getting worse, lol. she didn't care about the brand. it simply wasn't new or fresh -- it was all too familiar. you're gonna kill it no matter where you go!!!

You'll do great wherever you go

'philosophically' speaking, I think that only fools never change their mind no matter what. The entire universe changes, why should not people. I think it's actually the smart people who change their mind after they deliberately start to think: 'You know what, in light of newly found knowledge, I now changed my mind for this or that reason, and I want to move on.' And also, I must say, someone who doesn't waste their time gossiping deserves respect. In this day and age, this is probably the exception, not the rule. You are a serious person.

Your honesty and ethics are admirable. Thanks for sharing your life and of course your extreme talent with us.

First of all, congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Looking forward to some cap and gown photos! I’ve enjoyed all of your posts and vlogs. As I and many of your supporters have said before and on Patreon yesterday, we follow YOU and wherever life takes you. I’m excited about your future adventures and am looking forward to all the new things you will be doing! There are many pianists who play extremely well, but there has always been and will always be something extraordinarily unique about watching and listening to you perform music. All of your fans feel this and know exactly what I’m talking about. In life, you may sometimes run into people who have different (their own) opinions about what you should and shouldn’t do. At the end of the day as you unwind and sit quietly, you have to be at peace in your heart with whatever you choose and decide for your life. Actually, you’ve always said to surround yourself with those who support what you do. And, I did wish you luck in your application process to JM because you had applied but I am still going to wish you luck as you are embarking on a different journey. Wherever you go, whatever you decide will be the RIGHT decision FOR YOU. I support you! Your music is still your music no matter where you are. It’s a part of who you are! The right people will remain and become your greatest supporters. So, good luck and congratulations are in order! Looking forward to happy graduation pics and what you bring to the world!!!

It's actually really inspiring to watch you do what's right for you and not what others think you should be doing. That takes a lot of courage. Wherever you go I'm sure you'll do amazing and I'll be sticking around to watch it!

Congratulations!!! I am very honored and excited to see you grow as a pianist. I can’t wait to see what happens next, because we all know that you are one of the greatest pianists of our time. Also where I live there are not many people who appreciate classical music the way I do and it gets very lonely, but when I come to your videos I realize that there are so many people out there who feel the same way and all I have to do is wait for my future as a pianist where I will be able to meet so many other musicians like you. I really hope we get to meet someday. Thank you Tiffany!😊

For years I have enjoyed watching you grow as a pianist and a young woman. I had no idea what sort of person you really were until I recently discovered your silly and delightful vlogs. I have had the good fortune and pleasure of knowing other people who are like you. Just by being yourself you spread joy, elicit smiles, and inspire people to be the best that they can be. I care more about whether you are wearing comfortable shoes than about the particular decision you make about where you go and what you do. I hope you continue to share your life's journey with your 50k subscribers. Looks like we are in for an adventure.

Change is such an important factor in artistic expression and I'm glad you got the courage to do so!
