Blitzo’s dad and Stolas’ dad were both clearly terrible fathers. But what sets Crimson apart is that he actively will go out of his way to hurt Moxie both physically and emotionally. For him, it’s personal.
  • @melit.
Well Moxie’s words of “But it's a family! Under what circumstances would we ever need to kill a human family? Maybe like a shitty dad or a mob family. That's understandable.” mean a lot more now than just a throwaway line
  • @pyeitme508
Welp I think Moxie's dad seems to be the worst, for now. While Stola's dad is seem not the worst, having so much kids sure is a problem for him even if it's getting a suitable heir.
  • Ok Stella, your no longer the worst parent-spouse in this show. Moxxie's father makes Stella, Striker, Buckzo, and Paimon look like a bunch of saints.
  • Just so you know, crimson didn’t force moxxie to kill his mom, the imp moxxie threw in was a random male imp because male imps have thick white and black horns while female imps have thin black horns with white stripes, although the horns are cut off you can see that the white part of the horns are a little to thick to be a female imp’s horn
  • Moxxie’s mom was totally okay with Moxxie learning to use a gun. It’s literally when he was being tricked or forced to kill (and definitely because of his awful father) that she had stood up against him or tried to lead Moxxie away. 😢

cant say much of blitz’s dad , paimon at least tried to cheer stolas up in his own weird daddying way but crimson is the definition of evil
  • @cofagrigusfan24
what i find intresting is that Moxxie's 2 most defining characteristics (his morality and his firearms expertise) come from both sides of his parents Moxxie's personality comming from his mother side while the gun expertise comming from the father side

Crimson was trying to get Moxxie to kill as a child and seemed harsh while Moxxie's mother seemed to love him very much. Crimson killed her so he can literally control his son's life, having her drowned where many other victims are. I don't know if Moxxie even knows his father got rid of his mom, but I hope Crimson drowns with his victims.

“Millie’s dad is the nicest parental figure in the show so far” Stolas:
  • Crimson didn't try to kick her under the table. He saw the affection she was showing their child and tested the water to see if she would be willing to show him affection/ adult affection. That's why when she pulled her foot away from him, in obvious rejection and probably disgust considering how he treats everyone, he was angered by it/ being rejected again. That's what I took from it at least

Millie going crazy killing everyone at the wedding best scene in the episode I mean the animation was just beautiful to watch

I kind of wanted to point out a few things that I see as a head cannon for Moxxie’s mother Moxxie is said to have at least some kind of connection to the wrath ring and even shares their love for war..just focusing more on the tactical side So my guess is that Moxxie’s mom is from the wrath ring and married Crimson. Basically her teaching Moxxie how to shoot was due to again, war being a big part of her culture as a wrath ring imp But she doesn’t want Moxxie to mindlessly kill people..because even though the wrath ring love fighting..we can see by them banning Millie because she killed to many people shows that they don’t approve of mindless murder So yeah that’s my little theory on Moxxie’s mom
  • It's not a matter of whom is the worst father in the show; it's more about how terrible fathers influence their children. Vivziepop and her people like to draw parallels to real life in their creations, and with this episode, they completed a Dark Triad parallel. The Dark Triad in psychology is the three personality types you don't want in your life. With Paimon, he displayed Narccasim. He thinks so little of everyone around him that he can't publicly show up with his son. Cash showed a more Machiavellian approach, with Blitzo manipulating his feelings to commit theft. As for Crimson, he's a full-on Psychopath, heartlessly hurting and threatening Moxxie to get what he wants. These three fathers exhibit extreme personality types that can warp people's perception of life. As a result, the three sons chose to do the exact opposite of what their fathers did. Blitzo decides to be more caring, with Luna giving more attention to the point of aggravation. Stolas chose to provide Octavia with more freedom than he got. Moxxie decided to marry a woman that's his other half.

My takeaway from Moxxie getting tazed is to show that Crimson wouldn't be easily intimated and won't back down from someone telling them that they're not scared of him, that's also to show how he likes to control through fear alone and I betcha he abused Moxxie on a regular basis. Moxxie getting tazed was to show that Crimson likes to put fear back into the ones that stop fearing him. You being scared of him, is what gets him to sleep at night, think about it, people being scared of him gets him to sleep at night. If you were to say "how do you even sleep at night knowing that people are scared of you" he'd just say nonchalantly "very comfortable, thanks for asking". Crimson can't be beat for "character that had pissed me off so much that I want them to suffer at my hands. I want their blood on my hands"

Moxie’s dad is in my opinion the most evil characters in helluva boss
  • @T_Teobokki
Paimon wasn't that present on Stolas' life when he was growing up, forced his son to get married and overall didn't seemed to care that much about Stolas, but at least he cared enough to try to cheer him up by taking him to the circus and renting him a friend. Buckzo doesn't seemed to care about Blitzø, only using him as a way to get money, seemed to like to manipulate Blitz by guilt tripping him into doing what he wants, but seemed to not abuse Blitz physically. Stella exposed her daughter to a really toxic environment with all her fights with Stolas, but seemed to show at least some care for her daughter (On the Loo Loo Land episode there was a portrait of them 3 and Stella seemed to look genuinely happy to be there with her daughter) Crimson on the other hand, abused Moxxie extremely both physically and emotionally, only saw him as another one of his employees, didn't let him call him father or dad, only sir, went on his way to torture him emotionally by forcing him to kill someone, and also KILLED HIS MOM. So far, yes, Crimson is the worst

As far as we know, we haven't seen Paimon and Buckso threaten the lives of their own children (at least not yet). Crimson (and probably Stella) are the most cruel characters we've got so far cause their cruelty is personal while Paimon and Bucks just don't care about other's feelings.

I don't think Crimson was trying to kick his wife under the table, it looked like he observed her giving affection to Moxie, and then tried to receive affection as well under the table but she pulls away from him after which he stomps in frustration. I think there was some strong jealousy from Crimson seeing her be so soft with Moxie and then not being able to get that love from her. Before he hits her it even seems like he's pulling her in, and then she rejects him/pushes away (kind of like pulling her foot away under the table, being cold toward him) and Crimson decided something to the tune of "if I can't have you, no one will" including their son. I think this falls into the theme of Greed as well, it wasn't enough to see her be warm with their son he wanted more from her for himself

If you look, it definitely was not his own mother that Moxxie pushed in. However, if you slow down the video when it's panning to the pictures of the family early on in the episode, horns that match Moxxie's mother's horns are mounted next to the family portrait.
