This just goes to show the influence Rodney Mullen has til this day , he is the father of all street skate tricks and it shows

Big ups to the guy who was out there working on his ollies in the midst of world champions filming a session. That takes courage

Only 6 mins in and have been scraping my brains off the walls for how many times my mind has been blown by the skills of these kids.

As a non-skater, the slowmo clips are incredible. It looks amazing/crazy in regular speed too but when it's slowed down and I can see what they are actually doing by manipulating the board with their feet with godlike precision it becomes mind blowing. Skating's future is in good hands.

I am blown away. Im a mid 40's old man, I never could skate good, but the PURE JOY I get from watching you and these other riders is awesome. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for sharing!

They straight up feels like a prodigy team straight out of a skateboarding manga. Pro level skills at such a young age, amazing!

The style of these kids these days is unimaginable I'm a late 90s early 2000s skater and the progression is amazing ....can't wait to see how it evolves and it will continue to evolve

Probably the best display of skateboarding skills I've ever seen.

Japan is a new source of talent when it comes to skateboarding.

I love how Jonny doesn't just stand by an watch in awe - he jumps in the action with them and actually does pretty good.

I really appreciate Jonny's enthusiasm for these young skaters. His constant praising may be what they need after their rigorous daily training. I know most Asian cultures hold their own to a high standard which is why we see, truly, how great they can be at whatever profession they undertake. Kudos to these 3!

This might be the most impressive skateboarding skill display recorded in history. Mullen was always different. But in this one video, we can see MULTIPLE kids with more potential than most anyone ever recorded except a handful of people.. but they're still kids!!! The future of skateboarding is bright with talents like those young folks 👌🤟 Amazing video!

It’s crazy they make Johnny tricks seem normal 😂
  • It gives me chills to think of how proud Rodney must be for paving the way for all these awesome new variants of tricks that even he couldn’t have imagined.

Yuzuki Kawasaki is disgustingly smooth! These kids are a clear example of how the amazing Japanese people are the best at finding the things that their children gravitate towards naturally and nurturing the ones that they excel at. Some of the kids in this video could skate street along some of our greats here in the states in my opinion. Awesome video Jonny! Though everything has to come from somewhere, many cultures/lifestyles are truly borderless and are naturally loved and/or perfected by people of any nation, ultimately revealing that we're all the same thing with minor differences. This video was an excellent example of that! Thanks for making it!

On a scale from one to mindblowing, my mind is blown.

Watching you and Isamu both not being very good at the opposing language but helping eachother out with how to say or pronounce things and using a translating app too was so genuine and heartwarming, just good people trying their best and having a laugh.
  • @hartlas
Isamu has been absolutely killing it for like 10+ years... and he's only 20 lmao. It's insane how much he's perfected his craft at such a young age and just how good he is now 🤯🤙
