I am thankful for these ministries! I pray God will continue to lead us through whatever we may face, while we await His coming. I do want to clarify a comment that brother Mike made about NAR being a fringe "Pentecostal" movement. I see this flag tossed around, but have never addressed it publically. My father is 75 years old. He was saved on the streets in his 20's, he was immediately baptized in the Holy Ghost and has been an Evangelist, Pastor, and Bible Prophecy teacher my entire life. He has given his entire life to Jesus Christ and the Ministry. I was raised in a truly God fearing, spirit-filled home. We never went around proudly saying we are "Pentecostal", we just believed the Bible and sought to live it. I have attended several "Pentecostal" Churches and have never one time seen the disorder, false "signs/wonders", nor false teachings of NAR. Ever. No matter where you go, people can run off into the ditch. There are some who will lift up particular teachings, that happens. Some blaming the worn knees of other believers, because they themselves have a root of unbelief. Be cautious not to fall into hyper denominationalism -it can become heretical by emphasizing one teaching at the expense of the others. However. Walking in the power and authority that Christ has given, laying hands on the sick, praying in the Holy Ghost, casting out demons, preaching and teaching the ENTIRE Bible, prophecy, spiritual fruit and gifts - all according to the teachings of NT scripture is Biblically foundational and is not denominational. It's apart of the blood bought NT Covenant! We the Church are still in the beautiful Day light of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit of God gave birth to the Church that Day and we remain victorious until He comes! *Sadly I hear off the cuff comments about "Pentecostals" misrepresented often by (perhaps well-meaning ministers) trying to explain where the false movement of NAR began. I get it, it needs called out and all ministers need to publically call out the False Teachings and teachers accordingly. But those that are given TIME to preach have to fit it into a 30 min clock ticking down. What happened to being led by the Holy Spirit? I digress. In closing my mini-epistle: Start with the modern-day "Prosperity Gospel", then go back to the "Word of Faith" movement, then go back to "New Thought", then go allll the way back to Gnosticism. Then take it back to paganism, then trace it back to the SERPENT. "NAR" is simply the evolution of witchcraft under the guise of "Christianity" and it's gaining traction because of relativism, depravity, the occult, cheap American grace AND lack of power, authority, and preaching in the Church. The culture is ripe for it! And the next movement will surpass the wickedness of NAR. Deception keeps moving like the planets. Pray Church!!
