Former Safe Streets worker dies after being shot near old job site in Baltimore

A former Safe Streets employee who was shot in mid-July around the corner from his former workplace has died from his injuries, FOX45 News has confirmed.

Brandon Tucker was a violence interrupter at the Penn-North Safe Streets site from April until mid-May, according to Catholic Charities – the community-based organization running the site. Tucker was shot just before 10:40 p.m. on July 14 on the 1700 block of North Carey Street and died on July 18.

    Got to keep in mind that not everyone does good deeds, a lot of it is cover up to their schemes. From drug smuggling to carjackings, and we never know because it could have been a superhero who took him out. Not saying it's right to take someone's life, but some of those safe streets workers isn't innocent by far. A lot of young kids have been brainwashed into the gang lifestyle, sad thing is most of the communities really don't care or took it into consideration. It's not the first safe streets worker murdered, the other one was in Cherry Hill. His name is Kenyell Wilson in 2021. We have to protect the children at all cost regardless if they're our own or not, we're all family. Sometimes justice comes to those who aren't fit to be alive, all they're doing is polluting humanity. I am my brother's keeper! ✊✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿💯
