He NEVER should have been a police officer. He had a dishonorable discharge from the Army…. First red flag!! Then alcohol charges… Second red flag. This is negligence on the part of the police back ground checks.

SHE called THEM for help, so why would he treat her like she is the criminal.

It's worse is when you realize the lady called them because she thought someone was breaking into her house. Then he started demanding to see her license and became belligerent.

As a 30 year retired cop, I find this case disgusting. Apart from the incident itself, this guy should never have been hired by ANY law enforcement agency. A dishonorable discharge from the Army was disqualifying enough. The family and community should look at the agency for negligent hiring and retention.

An unarmed petite woman being shot in the head in her kitchen by a cop in her living room is absolutely disturbing. The murderer said he did it because she rebuked him in the name of Jesus… Now a mother and sister in Christ has been stolen from her children. 💔😢😰

She was only joking with them when she asked, "Why are you moving back?" I've even asked my nephew the same question when I lit my outdoor grill using gas, instead of lighter fluid. I said, 'Why are you moving back,' and he started laughing. Common sense should tell the average fool he got his little feelings hurt when she rebuked him in the name of Jesus for insinuating that she was trying to harm them. If you can't keep your feelings and emotions in check, why are you walking around with a badge and a gun?

Don't forget the questions of why this guy was allowed to carry a gun and badge. The only mental health crisis in this case was the guy with a badge.

How was he an officer?! He thought his audio wasn't being recorded too. He talked to her like trash. How is it OK for cops to get dui's, but other professions, like nursing, get their license taken away and can't even be a nurse anymore. I cried so much for this lady.

The fact that he shot her after she said she was going to rebuke him in the name of Jesus reveals there’s more at work here. He was clearly filled with demons.

Stop trying to use that against the victim she did nothing wrong

A SWAT team already had killed an innocent old man a Mr. Stamps, in his own home in my home town over 3 years ago. The town then disbanded the SWAT team. Because of this lack of training. Police, who had a search warrant, went to the apartment seeking Stamps’ stepson and another man suspected of selling crack cocaine from the home. After police broke down the door, Stamps complied with an order to get on the floor. He was shot in the head by an officer who said he lost his balance when he tripped over some debris in the hallway, causing him to accidentally fire. Supporters of Stamps say his case should have gone before a jury in a criminal trial and that the $4 million settlement his family received doesn’t take the place of justice.

This was unbelievable and sickening. She didn't deserve this.

People think that he should get life but I think he should be given the death penalty just like he gave that beautiful young woman. He has know regret for what he has done to this woman and he family. And another thing and people please try to understand what I am saying. I have a great deal of respect for her family and friends, but I believe that they should show the video of what happened to Ms.Massy.with out cutting and blurting it out so the people can see how bad it really is when the police kill an innocent person.again I’m not trying to be disrespectful to the family or anyone else. But if we can see how horrific the scene looks like the people will fight even harder to get justice for our citizens when things like this happens. I believe the more they cut the video the less people understand how horrific it really is to see an innocent person lying on the ground after being shot by the people you called to help you.😢😢😢
