Homemade sparkling cider is so easy to make! This homemade version is every bit as delicious as the expensive Martinelli's or other store-bought bottles that we think you'll never buy it from the store again!

What we love about this homemade version are the added benefits of it being SUPER PROBIOTIC! All those probiotics means your immune system stays strong and your skin will have a glow, but it also helps your digestion. This makes it perfect for drinking with those heavy holiday foods!

There's another option called a "ginger bug" that I use for homemade sodas. If you've ever had/made a sourdough starter it's the same basic concept - using the natural yeast in the air to create a starter. Just need ginger, water and sugar. We love making sparkling cider!!
  • Thank you so much Carolyn! ❤ Sparkling cider is my absolute favorite drink! I always have to wait until our local farmers make it when apples are ready to be picked. I never thought about making it but how simple and definitely worth it.🍎

That’s great! Here in France we have hard cider, but non-alcoholic probiotic cider? Perfect!

  • I just came across your channel! I <3 your videos- you're a great teacher. Guess I'll be binge watching as much as possible! I can't wait to make this cider!!

That sounds yummy. I will try it and add some nice seasonal spices to it like cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. Can't wait to get my hands on some apple juice. I find a pinch of salt in anything sweet actually enhances the flavour without being detectable as salt. My mother always added a little salt to coffee when she was brewing it. Best coffee ever.
  • Great idea :) I am going to try this for sure! Thank you for sharing :)
