This is easily the best What If I've ever heard of the Prequels

Out of all the ā€œwhat ifā€ scenarios with Qui-Gon and Anakin, this is easily the best!

If Qui-Gon wins the fight, the empire never rises and millions and millions of lives are spared. Interesting.

"What if qui-gon survived?" Apparently he will be painted to look like luke with long hair...

I can just imagine Qui Gon writing this. "And then I flexed my muscles, my six pack abs glistening in the sunlight. Darth Maul fell to his knees, begging me to spare him. I sabered off his head and then made out with the hot alien babe. 'Wow' obi wan said. 'You are so cool master'".

As we know darth vader was a natural engineer and could use technoguru or whatever so what if he used skill to create nanobots to repair his lungs and burns while also making limbs that could conduct the force to make lightning. This could relate to inquisitor baris as she used nanobots in the bomb and he may remember nanobots and their uses. He could could also conduct experiments diguised as torture to fool sidious, learning to heal wounds, make force sensitive droids/limbs and using nano bots to manipulate mididclorians to strip or enhance the force in individuals.

    1. Why did you have to do Obi-Wan like that? šŸ˜†. I feel like heā€™s a bit too good of a duelist to just go out on such an amateur mistake. 2. This all seemed just a little to ā€œperfectā€ with how it plays out. Kinda too ideal, in a way. 3. But I REALLY like how this plays into how Qui-Gon predicted Anakinā€™d be the one to ā€œrestore balanceā€ (from a certain point of view; all light but no dark? Idk about that one) to the Force. *Though to be fair, with how ungodly supreme Dooku was in saber combat, him + Anakin shouldā€™ve erased Sidious in record timeā€¦ with lightsabers, anyway. With Force powers involved, itā€™d be anyoneā€™s game, really.
  • That was an awesome video!! Please keep it up! I am very impressed!!
  • Another fire Star Wars channel I have just come across on YouTube & Iā€™m happy about that šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„
  • Qui Gon actually took the decision during his "meditation" to let himself die at the hand of Darth Maul, for a purpose: His entire character build speaks of defense, caution, wisdom, and looking at the bigger picture. If you look at the fight against Maul, Qui Gon actually has the upper hand the whole length of it while Maul flees. Then, Qui Gon decided to seize this opportunity of a with lord appearance to make a bold move. He sacrificed himself for he believed in Anakin. The Jedi council forbid him from taking an other apprentice, and he knew better they would have never accepted to train Anakin. By letting Maul kill him, he gets to ask Obi Wan as a final wish, to get Anakin trained. Obi Wan would have not challenged the council decision in an other way. And the council could not oppose Obi Wan decision without risking a schism in its establishment. Qui Gon rushing to Maul without waiting for Obi Wan makes zero sense character wise Qui Gon sacrificing himself for a greater purpose also lead him to be the first force ghost in ages

Another great "What If" story about Qui Gon and Anakin. Disney+ needs to do animated stories like this. Heck, since the Legends stories are no longer canon, episodes could be done on them as well.

I usually don't think much about "what ifs" and the ones I've seen or heard have been sort of meh. This one, however, was really good. I was invested throughout and I felt that everything that happened made a lot of sense. Well done.

Very nice story, although it hurt when Obi-wan died lol. One thing though, with this different timeline. There is no way the exact sperm cells that created Luke and Leia fertilized the same exact eggs to create them in this what if time line. Maybe they had the same names, but it would absolutely not be the same fraternal siblings.

It's a happy ending but the ending is bittersweet for one of the Jedi it does make me wonder if Qui-Gon actually did survive and he lost so much would he become more disillusioned with the Jedi or would he remain as his Gray Jedi persona
