Dr. EKBERG, I've been on Omad (w/very low carbs) since mid october. My weight dropped from 217 - 170. I'm a senior citizen who now wears my pre-pandemic skinny jeans again! Thank you.

Update, I wrote to you some time ago, weighted myself on Jan8, 2022. Went from 422 to 273 in 12 months. There are no words to express how much me and my family thank you. I have been OMAD for 4 months now and at age 51 I fell so much strong and better. Good quality sleep, walking 30 miles a week, fat adapted, no sugar plus a healthy KETO regime have changed my life. That last advise is pure gold.

I started eating once a day 15 years ago, simply because I was broke at the time. I workout regularly and at 45 I am in the best shape of my life and don’t feel the need for 3 heaping plates of food, 3 times a day. It’s amazing to see that the science behind it proves I’ve been doing the right thing this whole time. Cool!!!!!!
  • Today I lost 5 kg by doing OMAD for 3 weeks. I am finally under 100 kg now and so proud! 🎉 Thank you for your great work! ❤

just want to say that I have followed your advice and you honestly may have saved my life... I was 287 pounds with a 90 resting heartbeat and a average of 165 / 90 blood pressure WITH medications. I was just recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and I saw one of your videos and starting to put your methods into practice. It has been 3 and a 1/2 months and I am down in weight from 287 pounds to 228 pounds! My resting heart rate has gone down to 77 beats a minute! My blood pressure has gone down to 120 / 70 and my blood sugar never goes past 100 even when i eat! (Says around 80 while fasting). I cannot express my gratitude enough Sir, you have My respect and I truly believe in your truth because I live it! (My apologies but I am going to post this same comment on your other videos in the hope you will see it or that it may inspire someone else).

I'm very obese at 256 lbs and 5 ft 3, I'm on my second day of eating only between 10 and 2, it's rough late afternoon, but better around 7. I'm going to give it my all! I've already seen a drop in my blood sugar, from 265 at my highest to 118 this evening.... It's working, just pray for my will power.
  • I have been a very heavy sugar eating person through out my life as my shop is opposite famous sweets shop in Delhi . I was 67 kg at age of 23 and now 110 kg at age of 52 . After seeing this and some other your videos I have reduced my sugar intake to less than 10% of my previous intake and lost 2 kg weight in few days . I am becoming more energetic . And this is only starting . Now I plan to reduce more than 20 kg . Your way of explaining is Excellent .

It worked for me. Down 30 lbs and my type 2 diabetes is nearly reversed. Thanks Dr. Ekberg! I will continue to eat this way. Feeling good!
  • @srorx
I've been eating once a day for a long time because i said to my self "you don't need all this food you just need to stay alive" 😅 and that changed me for better.
  • @5MinuteBody
I have been eating once a day, also doing carnivore for the past few months. So many amazing things have happened, down 26lbs, sleep soooo much better and totally cured my anxiety. Also I save so much money doing OMAD!!😃🤓🥰
  • On my 25th day of OMAD. From size 12-14, I'm now size 10-12. Looking forward to size 8-10! Loving it!
  • @fastjaydub
I've had issues at work being incredibly tired especially after lunch. I'm 48 and have a few issues including inflammation of my patella ligaments. I started 3 weeks ago eating one meal a day in the evening. Within 2 days the tiredness stopped. And within a week I just didn't think about eating during the working day. I'm definitely losing my belly and lower back fat ever so slightly but it's evident 3 weeks in. I look forward to the results after 3 months.
  • @saraa4353
I've been eating one meal per day for a few years now. I only get hungry once a day. I used to get hungry every couple hours in the past. Snacking throughout the day. You can definitely adapt your body.
  • @ftmb1022
I'm about to embark on a 21 day fast with my church... I plan eat only once per day, no sugar, no dairy, no processed foods, will be waking up early to work out and pray. I am looking forward to the health and spiritual benefits!!!! Thank you dr.
  • Female. Age 47. Hypothyroidism, Lupus, Fibromyalgia. Everything else. At my heaviest, I was 267. I am now 196, and still going. That's 71 lbs. I'm still on a whole bunch of meds, but maybe not forever. We'll see. OMAD changed my life. Once you start, it's easy to keep doing it forever.
  • I went from XXL to XS in 1 year coz of Omad, no sugar, dairy, gluten. I love my hot body as much as I loved it when it was obese. Self love is self mastery! 😁
  • I've been doing OMAD since 2019. There are so many benefits to eating this way. I have learned a lot about my body, nutrition and energy in doing so. I love it and definitely intend to continue this as a lifestyle. I used to think hunger would just get progressively worse and worse until eat, but the opposite happens. I no longer get hungry throughout the day. I've done away with the need to snack and I don't have to be a slave to fast food when traveling. Preparing food is a joy, now. I can put thought into what I eat and eat more deliberately. When I lay out my plate, I can get a total view of what I am putting into my body for the day.
  • I have done ADF for last 18 months & lost 82lbs of fat, currently i'm on day 5 of a 10 day fast. This is my first go at prolonged fasting & because I'm fat adapted I'm finding it very easy. Great video Doc.
  • @zoieexo
I'm in my third month of OMAD and I'm down almost 50lbs. It's the best decision I've ever made when it comes to my health. I'm sleeping better and my relationship with food has improved so much. The only exercise I do is 10k+ steps a day. And I can eat what I want. I need to lose somewhere between 30-50 more lbs. And thanks to OMAD I will do it!
