The truth and low production quality.

  • I thought I was going crazy. I can pedal the Enduro uphill faster than the stumpy evo. I’m 6’4” and I sized down from S5 to S4 and I’m very glad I did! The absolute best setup is riding the enduro where a shuttle is available and riding my Kenevo SL where I have to pedal! 🤣

EXACTLY!!! I also have knee pain if knees is too much forward. Great you wrote that.
  • I’ve had a few XC bikes over the years. I’ve recently gotten into longer travel bikes and I bought a S-WORKS enduro with flight attendant. I can say it’s got a lot of the same feel as the current S-WORKS epic in terms of quick responsive feel while sprinting. It’s hard to explain but these Enduros are quick, they climb like goats! I put a 36T on mine and I’m loving the bike in general!
  • I agree with you on the seat tubes getting a little too steep lately. I’m 5.9 with long legs and a short torso. On my SC 5010, I’m on my arms and hands too much. I was getting shoulder and neck strain. It’s taken a lot of cockpit work and moving the seat all the way back to get it right.
  • What crank length are you running? Might have to do with your knee pain. I would definitely slide the seat forward and run at least a 40mm stem. Feels so much better than 32mm stem with a slack HTA. Helps keep weight forward on the front tire when you're charging.

Im in the market for a new enduro frame, and the Enduro is winning. Seems it was something ahead of its time back in 2020 when it came out, and currently it's still not outdated at all. Geometry, kinematics and travel wise, it makes much more sense than a lot of new bikes.
  • I’ve set more climbing PRs on my Enduro than on my 125mm Norco Optic. It’s long and heavy, but is the most capable bike I’ve owned.

nice review! here's a lil someting ive cocked up from the 2 years or owning a s4 and s2 the enduro is the best and abit "boring" bike in my opinion, im riding a s4 at 5'4, its requires full commitment to berms and if u arent a hard charger that will be painful and hard. On the positive side you can do whatever you want on this bike cause it will plow through anything u throw at it, and the faster u go the more stability it has so your confidence will sky rocket! size down if u want a more agile bike, size up if u want a more stable bike in high speeds at the gnarly dh tracks, doing trial riding with this bike in my opinion is extremely "boring" cause its plow through without effort!
  • I just sold my s4 frame I’m contemplating getting an s3. It was just slightly long for my riding and I’m 5’10”. I was going to pick up something else but I miss the way the enduro pedals and feel like there’s nothing for the price out there that’s as good. Do you think there will be a v2 next year?

combined travel?. be fun to turn up on a hardtail with just 300mm forks
  • @finroddd
Hi there and thanks for the good review! What is the travel of the fork? 170mm or 180mm?
  • My guess is that these are super expensive. MSRP should be part of every review.
  • I'm 5 11.5 can I ride an S3? Do you know what differences Id expect to see between the s3 and s4?
