In the claim, Auderer claims the SPD leaked false information concerning "wrongfully initiated disciplinary proceedings as well as my personal information, including my home addresses." Auderer also claims he was wrongfully terminated by the department, noting the decision was retaliatory due to his union leadership.
Auderer cited personal reputation harm, wrongful termination, and mental pain and suffering under the injury section of his claim. Auderer is seeking $200,000 annually in the aforementioned claim.

Sir, this is what's called a consequence of your own behavior. Not even your former fellow officers are defending you. Before someone says it I don't hate all cops nor do I believe every person who may or may not have committed a crime is guilty or a bad person. However, this man made a mistake of epic proportions and instead of taking accountability and doing everything he could to help that family and make things right, he chose to mock and disrespect his victim. I believe that people usually deserve a second chance at life when they have earned it, but he clearly hasn't. I'm not getting into forgiveness because that's not mine to give.
