Welcome to Adams County, Colorado Station 11. Thank you to Captain Thom Jeffries and Firefighter EMT Brandon Donner for your part in designing this amazing station and for taking the time to give us a tour. The attention to both function and aesthetics makes this a station that stands out and stands the test of time. The amenities and planning of the station take into consideration rising costs for training and recruitment with an exceptional meeting room to meet the needs of the firehouse as well as the community. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) continues to set new regulations for the health and safety of firefighters. The planning and construction of this station not only met the current regulations but went above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of the members for years to come. A large meeting room with kitchen, exceptional living quarters for 12 full-time staff 24/7, a fully equipped gym, and a multipurpose engine and training bay, are just a few of the reasons this station is not only functional but a desirable place to work. And lest they forget the past - right through the entrance is a beautiful museum reminding them of the history of Adams County firefighting. It is clear there was much thought and consideration taken when designing this station and the community can rest assured Adams County Station 11 is equipped and ready to serve with excellence.

    All the time and effort you put into your videos to show and present Fire Houses all around the US to us... I love your videos; I really do. We are constantly watching your videos with my mom and dad while having our Saturday breakfast... They are firefighters as well. Learning how things are in the US, the differences between your stations and our stations here, and comparing your rigs with ours while finding similarities and differences is our best and most immense weekend joy. I also want to thank all Firefighters, Paramedics/EMTs, Officers and all other servicemen/women around the globe for their service. You are making such sacrifices just to keep us safe. I know it first hand because my whole family is crowded with Police Officers and Firefighters. Massive respect to everyone! Lots of regards from Belfast.

    Really great seeing how these fire stations are putting into place steps to reduce the risk to their firefighters getting cancer during or retired from service. Well done. Really lacking this in our fire services over here. A fantastic station designed for the future.
