These guys are serious heavy hitters in the political writing sphere. Jon is really the Godfather he can pick and choose pretty much anyone to be on with him with his limited schedule and he's going not for the celebrity haircuts like Maher, but for the people with the most articulate and relevant POV. Bravo, TDS!

Love this. Stewart still has it even 10 years later. Entertaining and educational. Those that call him out should get a reality check and realize that Stewart is telling the truth and sometimes the truth hurts.

This is true journalism. Not a debate with opposite extremest, which sell a lot more, but a debate with rational critical thinkers.

All of a sudden, I don't miss Trevor at all. Kudos to John, the network and his team to have the courage to shine light on a subject to what the world has turned its back on. Thank you!

While we applaud for Jon doing this interview and segment, let's also thank Comedy Central to let Jon use this platform to do what is right for the world.

As a Westerner living in the Middle East, having any kind of emotionally stable conversation on this horrific subject, let alone adding in any light-hearted tone, is nigh on impossible. So kudos to the the legend that is JS, and Murtaza Hussain and Yair Rosenberg, for being able to do exactly that. Such an intelligent and mature discussion. An approach that the leaders of all the countries involved should take note of.

It is so weird that I click a comedy link to find the first real peace summit between Muslims and Jews ever. Murtaza's logic is unbelievably reasonable; Yair provides a very logical counterweight as well. I was in Damascus watching an israeli airstrike unfold before my eyes as the sky turned sunset-orange at 9 pm on a winter night. I was shaking and in tears a few hours ago, and now after this conversation I'm like yeah, the METO thing could actually work. Thank you all for making me feel like this is not an impossible case again. Thank you; you have no idea how much more comfortable with being at a warzone this makes me feel. Appreciation.

It’s so frustrating to try to learn about what’s going on in Israel and Gaza because any discussion often devolves into a shouting match about who’s responsible for the worst atrocity. This conversation deserves respect and nuance, and you’ve accomplished that here.

"Doesn't it appear that no party is incentivized to fix this at the peril and detriment of the Palestinian people?" With but one sentence, Mr. Stewart pins the main issue preventing lasting peace to the wall. It's uncanny how different these discussions are when he's involved.

NOBODY is doing this kind of content....and I'm so grateful that Jon does. He has a few of the most notable professionals doing actual journalism for this discussion, and makes it real and makes it engaging...and makes it human. Just the best.

JS is genuinely passionate about finding a solution to this conflict, he’s using his short time on the DS very wisely by bringing 2 young journalists each from the opposite side but who share a 10 years friendship and clearly love and respect each other!! Very original and inspirational.

It's a huge shame that this conversation probably wouldn't reach those who need to hear it the most. This is journalism in its truest form.

I love this dialogue. As an Orthodox Jew who does a lot of Multi- Faith work, being open to listening to the stories of different people and give honor to their stories, and realize that we are all the products of those experiences will and does make a difference.

Honestly so fresh and honest to see a conversation about this topic without it descending into accusations and meanignless rhetoric. It's sad when the Daily Show holds more informative and thoughtful debates than most of the traditional media news

I really admire and respect Murtaza's reporting, but his barber should be in jail
