Watch as the MMDA clear several busy streets of illegally parked vehicles which are adding to the traffic and congestion in Metro Manila.

I can’t even imagine how much worse things would be, if the MMDA weren’t so active in clearing the roads and sidewalks of NCR.

There should be an additional penalty for those kamotes that don't give their licenses until the vehicle is about to be towed. They are abusing the system that enforcers can't do anything about it.
  • Sarap sa feeling habang pinapanood ko mabigyan sila ng Ticket. Hindi porke araw-araw na nilang ginagawa e tama na sila at nakakalimutan na talaga kung anu ang TAMA sa MALI. Good job MMDA. Sana rito rin sa probinsya ng Pangasinan po at sa iba pang probinsya.

The sad truth is, based from a former truck driver that I once knew, he said to me that some truck drivers who unfortunately ran into a person because of their truck malfunction, they choose to k*ll the person rather than pay for their hospital bills because it'll take them a couple of hundred of thousand in one pay rather than pay huge sum of money for many times.

Bilib ako sa pasensya at sipag ng mga MMDA. Thank you GA for all the video.
  • Newfound respect for MMDA folks!!! You’re doing a great job! Keep it up!

Owners of dilapidated 10 wheeler trucks should be penalized “heavily”. So they would be forced to maintain their trucks in top shape

Really enjoy watching your videos as i live in the UK but visit the Philippines many times as my wife is filipino. Can you make a video of the compound where the cars and bike are been taken to, I’m interested in seeing how many vehicles are recovered by the owners. Keep up the great vloggs Gerry & Luisa👍

Preaching on the truck wheels bro. You're right. Ridiculous amount of truck accidents due to breaks but really there is an underlying irresponsibility on the maintainance of the machine. These accidents have resulted in deaths.

When do you think Filipinos will learn how to follow traffic rules, be safety conscious, etc. No hope it seems…

6:02 -- I'm glad you pointed out the tires on the truck. When I first arrived here, I noticed how sub-par tires are on vehicles such as jeepneys and trucks. A bad tire, or two, is just a tragedy in the making especially when it rains. Makes me wonder how many brakes are inspected, which are the only thing available to stop a vehicle. NEVER should improper tires, and brakes should be allowed on any moving vehicle.
  • It’s inspiring to watch these dedicated, committed, and honest traffic law enforcers. They are trying their best to effect a change in a broken system. Despite their efforts motorists continue to willfully disregard the law. Driving without a license, no OCRs, no helmets, no shoes just to name a few of the many traffic violations we commonly see on YouTube videos. It’s so sickening and I can only ask why. This video inform us about the efforts of the government to maintain peace and order in Metro Manila. It show us how motorists ridiculously behave when caught violating the traffic rules and regulations. Many make excuses, some fabricate lies, and very often individuals drop names from the list of their connections to get out from the offense they committed. This video and other YouTube videos have good intentions but they are just a part of the bigger picture. There is more to something than meets the eye. The reality is that far beyond our observation lies the truth. It’s hard to admit but there are several reasons why traffic rules and regulations are hard to enforce and motorists continue their crooked ways. The “padrino system” still in place doing its miracles, corrupt officials and law enforcers are still doing their business where “suhol” is still an acceptable means to settle traffic offenses. Motorists still believe that ignorance of the law is a good excuse and beside that, penalties are not severe enough to deter them committing violations. In order to make a change the government must seriously consider to reform the broken an ineffective system. But the common excuse you will hear from authorities; it’s easier said than done.

0:01 rider taking a video of the enforcers who caught him for unprescribed helmet and wearing slippers. Nice one kuya.
