How the hell is there no love for Joe? He was always prepared with food and supplies, risked his life to save TK, stayed with Mimi when she had her breakdown, and generally put the good of the team above himself despite his fears. I can't believe he didn't even get a mention.

Of course Tai is #1. He's the original hero, no brainer.

Ken is indeed the ultimate redemption for himself among all the characters. Though initially the villain of season two, he broke free from that dark spore’s influence that made him the Digimon Emperor he came to be.

Davis. He's the only Digimon leader who didn't force his partner to turn into a monster or go on a rampage like Tai, Takato, Takuya and Marcus did. Also, he didn't stop fighting when the rest of the kids wanted to run away. And he was the first person who believed that Ken could redeem himself when everyone still thought the boy would evil.

Seeing Ken lose Wormmon and actually caring made me cry and it still does.

Can't help but feel the cleché-ness of it all putting Tai at #1 (he's one of my favorite Digidestined, don't get me wrong) But where is Takato in all this? The guy created his own Digimon! Lol

I was in the minority on the school playground when I told kids I preferred watching Digimon over Pokemon, but I don't regret it.

Takato not been on this list is just criminal. He is certainly one of the most developed Digidestined, starting off scared but growing to be confident through the series.
