My gay daughter is moving to a truly free country in Europe where she can feel safe. She no longer feels welcome in this "Christian" fascist nightmare. Vote blue to save America and take it back so everyone can feel welcome and I can get my kid back. Please.

Dear letter writer, I live in Europe and eventhough I am a white straight male, I care very much about the politics in the US since Trump came to power. As a Dutchman I recognise what he is and I see his ugliness giving oxygen to the rightwing in my country. Please know that I, and many like me are trying to help the people of the USA to see what MAGA is trying to do, and that they should vote blue. You're not fighting alone. There is hope.

Told my husband I’m leaving this country if Trump is elected. Our media is even becoming complacent with kissing up to Trump. I’m black so my life will not be good in America under his presidency. If he wins, he won’t leave office.

I can relate to this. I’m gay, a black man, and married to my husband for 4 years. I feel like giving up at times on life. Seeing how people can vote for a person like Trump is just beyond me. Have we truly become that evil as human beings. It’s insane to think what the world will be if this man wins. If Harris does become one at the top of the ticket, she has my vote regardless.
