Kellys had such beautiful colours and quite Gauguin-ish.

Just love these programs. Artists are always amazing, and the judges are truly tested.😊😊😊
  • Thank you for bringing this out to the world to enjoy . Love the British way of interacting . Very inspiring to watch , sitting here in my isolated little studio in Ab. Canada on a cold March day . . .. paintbrush twiddling in the air , hoping to maybe paint ...or not .

Most of the judges' thought process is often pointless, but in the end today, I agreed with todays selection.

I was happy with the choice of the judges but would not have their job! It seems that they like a fresh style with a slightly rough look, not every hair in place, but showing a lot of personality. Excellent!

It's a huge pity they hardly spoke about the picture meaning. And of course, the models prefer the most flattering, idealizing, neat, feel-good portraits. Something they can look at in twenty years and feel proud... Of who they've been. The conveyed messages of these paintings are so clear and readable. Do they sell these paintings on a specific platform? I loved almost each painting, which doesn't happen to me that often - I suppose I lack sensitivity to most paintings I saw in this TV show series.
  • Nope, nope, and yep! Realism always wins for me. Missed the satisfaction of the winner.
  • ..just once i would like to see an artist stop their process , like at the 15:30 mark, and present that.....i find this painting, at this point, interesting

so glad Kristof won....his style was awesome and dynamic

Of the final 3, they chose the weakest. Paul should have won, IMO.
