Expanding on the first detail, Scouter characters have an easier time locking on to characters. If you break their scouters though, then they actually have a considerably harder time locking onto their enemies again compared to people who can sense ki already.

You can feel the love and passion the devs put when making the budokai and tenkaichi game series.

I’m surprised that I haven’t seen anyone mention this. One character that is completely immune to the super armor rule is Arale. No matter what character, she will always be able to stagger every opponent. This being a reference to the fact that she is just too powerful to be stopped.

Im not sure if you covered this already but: If you manually fuse your health bars add up, potentially getting all bars of HP, rather than choosing the charater from the selection screen and having default HP. Also, in the game if you stay for example SS3 for a long period, your KI will charge slower forcing you to go back to default form. This is because as Goku said, SS3 is a hard form to keep up. But if you climb back and transform again. I think you can enjoy full ki charge SS3 (i dont remember this last part throughly)

I think I noticed Edward Elric and Envy in the crowd as well of the World Tournament arena. Also, I think Ultimate Gohan breaks the super armor in BT2. Weird that they changed it.

Did you know that all characters move at a different speed when flying? If I remember correctly, Super Trunks is one of the slowest, while Base Form Trunks and Super Saiyan Trunks are some of the fastest.

Damn I miss the Tenkaichi games. They were so much fun. So many characters & so much cool stuff to do.

It's great that Tenkaichi 3 still has videos made about it. Such a great game. Wish they made a newer game in that combat style.

I feel with the Saibamen it's 100% them being plants. Even their capsule is shown to be half seeds and half water, meaning water makes them rapidly grow if they were able to reach maturity from a seed in seconds. I love the detail and didn't know they charged faster underwater until this video, so thanks for adding it to the video.

The search mechanic came from the first Budokai Tenkaichi game. Used to be a requirement before a fight starts outside of story mode but got removed either in BT2 or BT3. It was kind of cool since most stages would place you in different areas and whoever could find the opponent first could have a slight advantage at the start.

I think Kid Buu is pretty OP when it comes to competitive play. He also spawns with 3 Ki bars and you can instantly go into either KameHameHa or an Attack combo. And speed is definitely super high compared to that of Ascended Trunks!

Dang these games are insanely detailed, makers must've really loved the lore, it's great to see

Every time I watch one of these videos I think of how bad we need another game with THIS level of attention to detail. It’s mind blowing how much heart for actual fans went into this game.

The fact that they just announced budokai tenkaichi 4 today is how I found this channel

Idk if you mentioned it before but heres a neat thing I noticed in BT3. When you fight a giant character and use a dashing special attack, you’ll bounce off them and it will fail. Yajirobe is the only character in the entire game with a unique dash special which actually hits giant characters, its his ultimate attack and is a reference to when he chopped off great ape vegeta’s tail Edit: like others said, ssj3 goku and tapion also have super dashes that hit giant characters, these are the only three in the game that work Edit 2: Kid goku and ssj4 goku also work, I wonder if theres more!

The passion they put into these games are why they a beloved so much. Really hope that they do the same with the new Tenkaichi 4 with no rushing. I want to say that the Ultra Trunks form was in Tenkaichi 2 also, even with the same attributes (slow punching & ki blasts)
