Having no experience in this particular area, it is the first time that we are going to work with such project. We got some knowledge and inspiration, from an expert in the jet engines domain, @RobertMaddox. We decided to make our own pulse jet engine, that we are going to use on a bike in our upcoming project.

Now we wait for Colin Furze to comment :D

Cool project. Those things are loud. I've seen you do some dangerous stuff, but spraying atomized gasoline next to bare wires on a battery takes the cake.
  • @AceNinja2112
You are an amazing metal worker!!! Plus, your videography of the construction is highly entertaining and satisfying!
  • @GBWM_CNC
Your machining skills and video editing are both just perfect. You do really inspire me!

Best 'Established Titles' ad ever ... nicely done Sir.
  • @duke1467
We built these when I was a kid. The valve is much different but functions the same way. Thanks for bringing back such great memories.
  • @nathankirby899
I haven’t seen any of your videos in ages but I’m glad to see you back
  • @court2379
I made two of these in highschool. That valve block is likely to melt being aluminum. ask me how I know... You may need to change the tube length as well to get the right resonance. Was it based off any existing plans, or just winging it?
  • another piece of expert craftsmanship gentlemen, well done. I assume there will be further refinements in the future.
  • Most youtubers would have turned this into a 20 part video series.i respect it
  • @JazzbLu
FINALLY! Someone made a gasoline pulse jet! Thank you and totally awesome build!
  • @DanKoning777
With pulse jet engines still being used today I can't wait to see this [or a modified version of this], on a future build of yours. According to my research, 70 to 100mph is the "norm to expected range" for these engines. Looking forward to seeing what the "Extreme" speed range is. 😁*Well done* and God bless as always.
  • @ 11:56 if that was gasoline you were lucky it didn't ignite from the spark caused from the battery terminals!
  • @mmccab
Gotta love the part where you test the gas atomizer in the open room with the battery connection held by fingers. Apparently you assistant didn't arc the end of those wires with that gasoline mist in the air. The video may have been shorter, if so.
  • @cadenbecker2952
awesome project just one concern is the compressed air hose for the fuel line which will swell with contact to gasoline, if the pump is under 20 psi (which it looks like). Normal fuel hose with work but an efi pump 200-300 psi will need efi fuel hose. Cant wait to see what this goes in
  • @damenekamel5063
it was one of my dreams to do what you did absoluntely amazing well done my friend
  • @thepvporg
You could have just used the body of the rocket to gassify the fuel and then combust it so that its a continual process, feed in the gas via a venturi intake to get around the issue of the reed valve. Look up Primus stoves and Tilley Lamps, they gassify kerosene that is then burnt to cook or lighting.
