As a thunder fan whose Māori from New Zealand, it is so cool to know there is a native brother playing for the Thunder! Mad respect bro
  • Born and raised in OKC and I just want to say thank you to all 3 of these guys. It's so cool seeing a few guys from OKC with OK accents on a national media platform.
  • Went to Oklahoma State and saw Waters play there. He was a good player, but it surprised me how much he’s contributed in the NBA. One of my childhood teammates played with him in AAU basketball and he said nothing but good things about him too. I’m really glad he got the opportunity and seems to be a great person to prop up. He represents Oklahoma well.

Amazing interview. Lindy, congrats on the G-league western conference win!!! Also, inspiring to hear you overcoming your obstacles. Sometimes life doesn't go the way we expect, but sometimes these things lead us to paths we would have never taken.
