What I believe lego should do is they should make some form of basic military sets but leave the specific and detailed modern military up to the custom creators

This is where Cobi comes in. They make fantastic military sets and since they are a big manufacturer doing this en-masse their prices stay low - usually HALF the price of similarly sized Lego sets. They have good quality and the build designs are clearly made by AFOLs.

“If the engine breaks, we have a spare tire in the back.” Had me dying 😂

As someone who grew up with a set of bootleg Lego SPAAG And artillery, this is nostalgia.
  • I think LEGO should make some military minifigures on the lighter side, like the Indiana Jones German minifigs. Some people might go crazy over it, like they did with the LEGO V-22 Osprey set.

My guess for the wire on the EOD suit is that’s an antenna that would plug into a radio that would be mounted to the wearers back and would relay into a com set in the helmet that’s an open mic that would keep the radio hands free. Possibly a line to an Air conditioner unit mounted to the back as well I have seen some fancy suits that have that (the bomb suit here hot AF) It wouldn’t be a safety retention line, you’d never mount something like that to your head. Mid torso I could see that but that’s special circumstances.
  • 1:40 thank god! I almost thought they forgot to add a spare wheel for when the engine breaks down…
  • I think lego army battle packs would be cool. Kinda like all the star wars clone trooper battlepacks but with specific soldiers instead. E.g. based around WW1 where you could buy around 4 specific country soldiers with one of their main weapons.

I don’t know if I would exist without military Lego

I love how the model includes the most important part of the humvee... the spare tire.

The coolest military lego minifigs I can remember were from the Dino Hunter Sets. Those Guys had some dope tac vests and gear that came with the set. Pretty sure it was a T-Rex Fighting a squad repelling out of a chopper. Pretty epic set. Edit: Its called Lego Dino Attack T-1 Typhoon vs Trex. The set is godlike.

They definitely should. There are so much interesting military content. I’m pretty sure they were going to do an Osprey once but pulled it from sale. That set would have been sooo cool!

Buying custom miniatures is like modding your favorite game. Once you start, there’s no stopping.

Fun fact: In the old lego sets, there was a zombie set, mostly like post-apocalyptic sets but the average you know real lego guns.

Well, I think it depends, because Lego is generally geared towards kids which I don't think the weapons would be good for. However, Lego has done some more adult geared stuff which a military theme would be great for. Anyway, Great Video, keep doing what you are doing!

Lego has said that they don’t care about people making Lego military vehicles, they just won’t do it themselves
