I know someone who called 911 and was promised protection,so he told the cops who shot someone and showed the video to prove it. The cops caught the guy,and stopped protecting the witness. The witness was shot 4 times in his chest 2 days later buy the guys friend,and died . This is why most people don't snitch or tell
