My doctor tested me and they said I can’t have the same things listed here! But I also can’t eat fruit it’s too much sugar and especially mango for other skin issues. I can’t eat raw vegetables ether because my digestive system cannot process it and it hurts so bad. I don’t consume seed oils ether. After using this diet I was cured from all my skin conditions and my inflammation got less!! This diet literally saved my life
  • I did this diet once and it had helped me with my thyroid, it's been almost two years since I didn't feel any symptom. Unfortunately I was eating a lot of stuff and I'm feeling sick again. It is a hard type of diet but it works.

100% sustainable, it just takes dedication. Why would anyone ever want to reintroduce foods that your body is clearly telling you not to consume?

10 years ago I did an elimination diet via my naturopathic doctor. Took an entire year for me to finish. Then I followed an. AIP diet for 8 weeks avoiding all the foods I knew I had reactions to. Over the past 6 years I have had to do repeats and also followed the whole30 diet. My sister was just recently diagnosed with Hashimoto. Doctors have checked my TSH but never did an Anti-TG or TPO.

I did one month gluten free. And, I felt better and I healed my back, my right hip I hurt doing parlour / free running, and my two injured shoulders. The pain is gone completely I couldn't even do push ups from shoulder pain. But, that one month of gluten free healed them.

Thank you very much, Dr Sung for your video, it's so helpful for persons with Hashimoto's. Im beginning to do the AIP diet and pray that my condition will improve. Just one question though - could i eat Brazil nuts? was told that Brazil nuts are rich in selenium and thus good for Hashimoto's patients. Yet, in your video, nuts are to be eliminated. Thank you once again and looking forward to your clarification. Blessings
  • Hi Dr... If possible, can you make a video on hyperthyroidism & Graves’ disease, please? (Diet, supplements etc)

Hello Dr. Sung..... fantastic conversation here. Question.... did I miss any mention on ferments.... ? I realize through a beginning phase,8 weeks, it would be sensible to eliminate ferments and later reintroduce perhaps rotationally to better identify tolerances and add back beneficial effects and nutritional uptake along with additional benefit for he gut health. If not previously spoken of would much appreciate including these points of input as well. Many thanks.... over 10 years down the road from a graves diagnosis here.

When I look at your list of foods to avoid, I wonder if there is a connection to glyposate since those foods can be highly sprayed; therefore, contaminated, with glyposate.
