"or bribe enemies to leave you alone, I made that last one up" Not anymore
  • The irony that he predicted the Ferryman's secret of "bribing the enemy to not fight you" is Hilarious to me.
  • The thing I love about Gabriel is that he was holding back in gluttony. Apparently he has two swords called Splendor and Justice which his pride stopped him from using in the fight. And in the words of the Twitter itself “but now things have gotten a bit more… personal”
  • Just a quick note: Style system was changed with the introduction of Wrath and Heresy, so yeah, now you gotta earn it by using your WHOLE arsenal, and killing big groups of trash doesn't give you as much style as earlier.

"Ultrakill Act I: Infinite Hyperdeath" is the greatest set of words I have ever heard. No sentence or phrase will ever sound a sick as that.
  • @Cvit
Once Hakita introduces Spy Kids 4D smell tech into the game Lust’s climax will really capture the New York subway experience
  • @Blitzdrachen_
5:20 the moment you realise you can actually bribe the ferryman in act 2 for a free exit instead of fighting him
  • @Unswicy
At 41:55, I like how the Cerberus doesn't have his powerball in his hand, indicating that the wicked thing killed it as it needs to be alive in order to manifest one.
  • I like how minos prime refers to you as "a creature of steel",which, despite immediately trying to kill you, shows that he respects you infinitely more than Gabriel, and thus I like him more

fun fact: the first time i picked up the railgun i was already holding right click for some reason, and the railgun zooms in mad hard when you right click. coincidentally, the demon that popped up in front of me jumpscared the shit out of me
  • YOU CAN PARRY THE PUUUUNCH One of my favorite lines of any review I’ve seen, maybe ever. Just conveys the pure joy and excitement the game makes you feel, and rata’s desire to share it with us all.
  • @Kwevin6659
Hopefully Rata takes this video as a sign that he can do more than just yugioh stuff. It's his 6th most popular video in only 3 months, and yes "ultrakill hype" probably helped a bit but Rata's genuinely a great guy to watch, it'd be great to see other stuff he wants to talk about.
  • @Galgamos
You know a game is good when having almost all of its existing content spoiled still makes you want to play it.
  • I read this somewhere but I feel like it's worth mentioning: "P ranking every stage isn't a challenge... It's a warning."
  • @Spooncakes
The moment you said "I can't believe this is the finale for the first THIRD of the game" gave me chills
  • This is a YU-GI-OH CHANNEL? With how high quality this video was, from start to finish, it feels like you've been doing video game videos for years! Fantastic stuff, man.
  • @MariusUrucu
You have no idea how much I love seeing you branch out to gaming related content, especially games you're absolutely passionate about.
  • The doors with the "P"s might reference the divine comedy again, as during Purgatory Dante has to have seven "P"s scrubbed from his forehead to represent the seven deadly sins of each stage of purgatory (As in italian "sin" is "peccato", hence the P)
  • Ultrakill is proof that sometimes a crazy gameplay idea SHOULD be developed and handed to an audience to play with
  • @rokaq5163
Who would have thought that a YouTube channel dedicated to Yu-Gi-Oh would see such a dramatic increase in views after a video on Ultrakill. I discovered this channel thanks to Ultrakill, in fact. To be honest, your style of video lends itself very well to essays and playthrough analysis, just like this one. Nice comedic tone, perfect pacing and overall a really nice and entertaining analysis. Kudos to you!
